You played songs that everyone knew and loved and got the party started even at 1:30 in the afternoon! "Hi Kirsty and band. I just wanted to say a huge "Thank you". As you know my wife's retirement party was on Saturday night 20th Feb 2016. We had a band booked months ago that let us down at last minute. So my stress levels were through the roof. 1 phone call to Kirsty who saved our night. Very professional and made me relax immediately after making our booking. The band arrived with plenty of time to setup and sound check. Before 140 guests arrived. 2 x 1 hours sets. Music was fantastic as was Kirsty's voice. Loads of my guests have already said best party they ever been to and the band made the night. Great range of tunes and the dance floor was packed. All I can say if you are looking for a professional reliable band who can rock your party to a new level book Peach Beach. Please extend mine and Hazel's huge thanks to the band members. I hope we can arrange another party soon and book you guys again. Fabulous and thanks for a truly memorable night 10/10"

"Just wanted to give a big thank you for playing at my wedding in July 2023. For anyone considering booking Urban Myth, here are the best things about them. Firstly, they sound amazing and even learned my first dance song, which I’ll never forget. From the very start, they gave me all the information I needed and talked me through what usually works best in terms of timings etc. They came early to set up the bulk of their equipment to minimise disruption as our whole day took place in the same room. We also took advantage of a daytime acoustic set which was lovely. The main performance again, wow. Everybody was up dancing, and the night really was the best ever. Thank you so much to all of you for making my day extra special."

"I was given the responsibility of choosing the entertainment for our wedding and I knew I had found the right group when I came across Detroit Deluxe. Their repertoire of songs stood out from the others as they cover multiple genres without all the modern cliché covers. The vocalists were outstanding and spent time with us chatting after the 2 sets which was a really nice moment. I have had several guests ask me for their details after the wedding. They were outstanding professionals and had people on the dance floor all evening. They suggested us a set list and we changed a few of the tracks with no issue. Their cover of our chosen track by Ben Howard was exceptional and still gives me goosebumps when I listen back to it now. Thanks so much to the band and say no more I would of course recommend them. They truly made our day. "

"We thought you were fantastic – super professional, really friendly and the students loved you! It was a very tough crowd, (international students always are; massive range in cultures, preferences and expectations) so it was a relatively small crowd towards the end of the evening. But you remained superb, continued to engage with the small audience so we were very pleased indeed!"
