"On 28th February, West Malvern musicians contributed to a very successful concert in aid of the Malvern Foodbank, in front of a full house at Colwall Park Hotel. The Blue Notes Jazz Duo got the second half off to a rousing start with jazz classics played on the saxophone and keyboards. David and Elliiot, I just wanted to let you know that I have had so many really positive comments about the concert in general and Blue Notes Jazz Duo in particular. Now people are asking ‘when is the next concert?’ I certainly have no immediate plans for a repeat but if I’m pressed to do another some time in the future I hope I can call on you again as I really enjoyed your set. They were professional, warm, and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience feel effortless and enjoyable. In the lead-up to the event, they were completely reliable and easy to communicate with, giving me total confidence that everything would run smoothly. On the night, they curated a brilliant set list that perfectly suited each part of the evening, from relaxed early on to upbeat tracks later that got everyone on the dance floor. "Kathryn and Milly performed at hour wedding in April 2026. I can't thank them enough for making our wedding day so special. They performed for an hour during our drinks reception outside on the patio. They performed a range of acoustic style songs. It was beautiful. My friends and family were genuinely so impressed by them. I also booked Kathryn and Milly for my wedding reception. They honestly entertained everyone all evening! They sang such a good range of songs which was great for all of the different age ranges. They managed to lead the guests to the right places at the right time for the cake cutting and first dance which they sang so perfectly. The girls were so friendly and really went out of their way to make everything run smoothly. Their voices are honestly incredible! They are absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend!"

"Wow! How wonderful are you two! We had an amazing day, topped off with an amazing evening and have received such positive feedback from our family and friends that we are absolutely basking in your glory!! Chatting to you, Jackie, on the phone long beforehand to explain who we are and what we hoped for was very important, and you were so easy to talk to. Your play list was great and the couple of items we rejected were taken out of the list without any issues. You opened with a song of our choice for our first dance, even though it was not on your playlist, and you graciously invited others on to the dance floor as the song progressed, in response to our request to steer the spotlight away from us. You listened to us and understood. You seemed to have people on the dance floor from the first song to the last. I don't think I've ever been to an event where that has happened. You had four and six year olds dancing and playing with the lights on the floor; you had friends who prefer a slow dance smooching to a number of songs; you had a large number of people following your "dance" moves; you had many people singing along; and we have received comments from the non dancers that your music wasn't too loud, so they could carry on conversations while others danced. And, amazingly (given that we had told you we were a bit stuck in the 70s) you had the teenagers up and dancing and having a really great time. We had a number of discerning musicians among our guests and without exception they thought you were a great band. You arrived to set up just as we were starting to eat yet there was no disruption. Thankyou for lending us your microphone for the speeches. You are a very talented couple and we are so pleased that you were able to entertain us and our wedding guests. Thankyou again. Judith"
