"I saw Robin Curtis playing at the Balcony bar in St.Ives a few weekends ago. He played some great sing-along songs and everyone there was having a wonderful time! There was a really good atmosphere at the gig and I would definitely see him again!"

"Big Skies played at our annual golf trip to Ullesthorpe. Everyone present were very impressed with their performance. They began with more laid back , country songs whilst the guests were finishing off food etc. Fantastic musicianship, talented guitar playing and exceptional harmonies. I had chosen one or two songs which were a little less known by most people present , namely “Battle of Evermore”, and Dylan’s “Oh Sister”, and their renditions were captivating. Later in the evening the tempo was raised and it was great to see so many on the dance floor. Overall, a fantastic evening had by all thanks to Big Skies! I would strongly recommend them if you were thinking of hiring an acoustic band for a special event. "

"Tamilla played at our wedding and was fantastic. We mostly chose songs from her repertoire but we did also have a few requests for her to play modern songs that weren't listed including a very obscure song from the Final Fantasy XX game. Somehow she managed to find a backing track and played the song beautifully during our register signing. The only reason we haven't given 10 stars is because we had a couple of little hiccoughs earlier in the year regarding a mix up with contracts/deposits and slow communication the month before the wedding (although this was because of health issues with Tamilla's family so was just bad luck on our part timing-wise). Otherwise, we would certainly recommend Tamilla as she's an amazing violinist and comes at a fair price."

Hi Justine, thank you for recognizing the quality of my performance on your wedding day, I did try very hard to find and rehearse the music you requested. As you have mentioned, two members of my immediate family had joint replacement operations within a week of each other, and I was a bit slow in replying, for which I apologized, but I think I have more than made up for any hiccups in communication by staying longer than the agreed contract and playing for your drink reception voluntarily and without being asked. "Fantastic New Year’s Eve surprise for family courtesy of Jonathan. Wide repertoire of music including a special rendition of happy birthday for one guest. Would highly recommend Jonathan for any event, his piping made our night very special"

"The Amy Kennie Duo were amazing! They made our 40th birthday. They arrived with plenty of time, they were so lovely and professional. Everyone commented saying how amazing they were and how lovely it was to have such great musicians instead of a DJ. Many of my guests even asked where I had found them and for their details. I would 100% book them again. "

"I was at a wonderful party at the Queens House Greenwich which VS played at in early March this year ( 2012.). Their sound is wonderful and ensemble really crisp and full of Brio. The cello in particular had a rich Tortelier like timbre . They also look as if they are really having fun which avoids the whole show looking too serious. Their Bizet was also full of zippy energy."

"Me and my whole family have known Nick for many years now, i own a financial firm in the Docklands area so when we need to let our hair down there is only one person who we can have entertain us demanding mob ! It's difficult to really put into words how loved he is by all of us who work for me and my family, i feel like he is part of my family anyway so i can't fire him lol Ok i suppose i best write something nice now.. Yes the man can play and yes the man can sing but the shows/gigs are so much more than that, a lot of thought goes into what he does and it really shows. I have no worries in vouching for Nick, not only as a wonderfully talented musician and singer but as one of the most genuine people you'll ever meet. It should be 11/10 !"

"Ethan was absolutely excellent. We went to see him perform a couple of times before our wedding and he spent time talking to us about timings and play lists. For our wedding party he both performed and provided a DJ service, both of which were great. He played everything we asked for and even learnt a song specially so he could perform it for us. Everyone at the party commented on what great entertainment he had provided. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and thank him for the brilliant night we all had. "

"Fantastic violinist and a lovely woman too! Put me and my best man at ease pre-wedding and a breath taking display throughout the day. She supported my wife throughout the planning process (which took some of the pressure off me ha ha!) I honestly can’t recommend Jo enough. Thinking of the next even we can hire her for! "
