"We first met Chris when he played for us at our pandemic wedding in June. We found an advertisement for Chris online and knew from the first phone call that we wanted him to be a part of our big day. Chris Tavener was professional, courteous and well organised. He was happy to comply with venue rules and regulations and nothing was too much trouble for him. As an events organiser, I have worked with many different suppliers and the good ones can be hard to find! Chris Tavener is a rare find because he is brilliant! His customer service was second to none. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him and would definitely use him again at future events. Chris was always super quick to respond and problem solve. If we had any issues in advance of the wedding and on the day itself he was quick to sort them and relieve us of that headache. He puts himself into your shoes and does his utmost to make the day as special as he can for you. Although we booked Chris last minute because we weren’t sure if the wedding would go ahead due to covid, we needn’t have worried. A tour request, Chris took on the role as toast master and coordinated everything perfectly on the day. He liaised with bar staff to announce our arrival and get things ready and he announced our speeches at the reception. When organising a wedding, you need the best people in your team to make the day (and the run up!!) as stress free as possible. When it comes to entertainment - Chris is that person.  We were delighted that he played for us. He read the audience well and played a great selection of songs to cater for all age groups. He created a fantastic atmosphere and even played a little longer into the night when he knew our guests didn’t want him to go home! We can’t thank Chris enough for how special he made our big day! Thank You!"

" Stuart is brilliant. He has a great voice and the ability to perform a fantastic range of music to suit all tastes. I’ve used him twice now for corporate events, and on both occasions we have just not wanted him to stop playing, we could have listened to him all night – lucky for us he had no hesitation in giving us an encore or two! I would highly recommend Stuart, his performances have always been faultless. He is very professional, liaised direct with the venue and kept me updated, so I knew I could relax and let him get on with the job. I would highly recommend Stuart and I look forward to him performing for us again at some stage."

I feel his audience here didn't get the full joy of his performance as they weren't giving it their whole attention hence missing the satirical brilliance. Many, who listened intently, loved Chris. "We have now returned from our honeymoon and wanted to thank you so much for providing us with such excellent music at our wedding. You created the most perfect atmosphere during our ceremony and were everything we could have hoped for. Having you play in the afternoon during the canapes and drinks was also amazing, we recognized every song and have had many compliments passed to us from our guests for you. We really liked how you kept in touch and gave recommendations right up until the wedding so we knew what to expect with no stress at all. We would recommend you in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a musician for their special day! Thank you again!"
