"Black Velvet Band Irish Band were excellent and really added to our Irish themed evening. Lots of very traditional music. The guys were very flexible and last minute added in a Ceili set without prior knowledge which was appreciated by all and added to the fun of the evening. Very highly recommended."

" What a superb band! It's was a huge privilege to have you play at our wedding, the guests loved it and there wasn't a moment that the dance floor was ever empty!! When booking the Ashdowne, we were initially drawn to the initial repertoire of indie and rock songs the band had on offer and not to mention the talent of both the guitarists, drummer and singers. The band played acoustic and full band sets which didn't disappoint. A truly talented band, who would not look out of place at a major music festival!! Professional through and through and accommodating to all our needs leading up to and during our special day. Thank you every so much for making it such a wonderful day!! "They were awesome, they were on time, they made sure the dance floor was big enough, helped sort the running order of the night but most importantly the music, vocals and calling were faultless. "From the first contact, Jake filled us with confidence that it was going to be a great event. His communications prior to the night were professional and allowed us to personalise the type of evening we wanted to create. The band arrived promptly and set up with a playlist in the background suiting our preferred genre. They were helpful in changing the timings on the night to accommodate the mood of the party. The music itself was fantastic; they're a talented bunch of musicians! And they have the ability to modify the playlist, depending on their audience. Lots of our guests commented on how good the band were. All in all, value for money. And we have total confidence in recommending them. A huge 'thank you' to Jake and all the band members for helping to make our wedding party a night to remember."

"We hired Mark & Carrie to perform at a 40th birthday celebration and we lost count of the number of party goers who said they would love to see them again and would hire them in future. We would have no hesitation in doing the same. They are unique and fantastic."

"We hired this band 'Barn With Us' for our Company Summer Party 2 weeks ago, The weather had been horrendous that morning right up until they arrived! Not only did they bring the sunshine with them, they also brought the PARTY! They are so good! They had people up line dancing and joining in, everyone had so much fun. Remko and Lilac make such a good team, and the other band members support them well too. We would definitely not only recommend them, but we would also book them again ourselves. 10 out of 10 for you guys. 💜"

"Leah and her stand-in companion Clare [Rebecca was on maternity leave] were a delightful couple of very nicely turned out musicians of high calibre and they delighted both myself and my guests at my recent birthday garden party. I had pre-arranged a programme of sets and Leah was always obliging in our discussions of my requirements and their performance on the day was first class and the perfect accompaniment to a perfect summer’s afternoon."

When Victoria started to sing she wowed our guests and the staff at The Secret Garden. Victoria really played a big part in making our special day perfect.
