"What a FANTASTIC Band !!!!! I would recommend them to anyone who wants a jolly good PARTY!!! Not only were Aisha and the team polite, easy-going, happy and reassuring (For a Bride!) ... their music had bags of charisma, attitude and energy. It is IMPOSSIBLE to not get up and dance, even my Dad who is not a showman in any way was up having the time of his life. FANTASTIC value for money (We paid a little extra for 12-1 am set which I'd recommend) LOVELY GUYS, accommodating to all of our needs or concerns, no matter how small. All our friends and family said the best part of our Wedding reception was the band! "

"I had to let you all know what a wonderful evening was had by everyone, especially me! on the occasion of my 65th birthday at the Webbington Hotel. Lots of my family and friends said how impressed they were with the band, and I was asked by the hotel staff for your details as they were so impressed with what they heard. "Thank you for your superb performance at our daughters wedding on 1st September 2018. You certainly added that WOW factor and everyone enjoyed listening to you . "We booked Jo at short notice as we had been let down at the last moment and Jo stepped in to save the day despite having a gig earlier in the day. Everybody was really impressed by the quality of Jo's voice, era matching dresses and her performance. Her choice of songs was perfect for our guests and got all ages dancing. We would recommend Retro Rita unreservedly. "

"We hired Kevin to play at a very intimate private marriage ceremony in Knightbridge and he was absolutely fantastic. He created such a classy atmsophere for our guests to walk into as they arrived at the venue, playing all of our requests (and many other jazz standards) beautifully. We also asked Kevin to play a more unusual classical piece, 'Parce mihi, Domine', as my bride-to-be and I walked into the ceremony room, making the moment all the more special. Again, he played wonderfully during the lunch that followed, and was sure to play softly for the benefit of our guests so as not to extinguish their conversations with his playing. We would absolutely recommend Kevin; an excellent player and a truly nice guy. We'll certainly be keeping him in mind for future events."

"I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for everything you guys did for our big day!! The band were absolutely incredible and had everyone up dancing the whole night!! The whole day was everything we hoped for and more and everyone we spoke to commented on how brilliant the band were - both as a 3piece in the day and as a 5piece at night! I just wanted to dance all day!! :) By far the best decision we made for the wedding and we can't thank you enough! You have been fantastic throughout - from our initial enquiry to the big day and we would definitely recommend you to anyone! So thank you, thank you, thank you!! I just need to find another reason now for a big party so we can book you guys again!!"

"Sue was amazing from the start. Communication was always spot on, nothing was too much trouble even after we asked for a few different quotes for set duration etc. Leading up to the wedding Sue was in contact and was very accommodating with any song requests. On the evening Sue was just amazing, so talented and got the crowd involved. We had so many compliments regarding how fun the evening was. We can't recommend her enough!! "

"The HB Jazz Ensemble were great, friendly but professional. Their music was perfect for our get together and I would have no hesitation in recommending them for any occasion where smooth jazz, mixed with a few standards, was the order of the day.
