"Matt, thank you so much for playing at my gangsters and molls birthday party on Saturday night. Barry and I saw you and the band playing at a wedding reception last year and you were so fantastic we wanted you for our party. You played a brilliant set to suit all tastes (I just love your cover of Basket Case!) and I really appreciate you including my couple of requests for the recorded break music. Everyone commented on how great you were (my work mates were still talking about you this morning!). We would definitely recommend you to anyone looking for a band for their special event. "Olly, you made my day! We Were disheartened by having lockdown wedding but the setting, the atmosphere you created and the intimacy of it being small made our day all we have dreamt of. Complete variety of music to suit everyone and for Ben's Nan of 95 to be up dancing to Klingande was just amazing and a memory we won't forget in a hurry! You have a seat at very party we hold from here on in! Thank you so much!"

"Absolutely incredible! I cannot recommend The Pedal Tones enough as a band for your wedding. They played at our festival style wedding, and they absolutely made the evening! They are so talented and put on such a great show. And genuinely lovely, friendly people as well. I have to say as well, that out of all of our wedding suppliers, The Pedal Tones were by far the most professional, helpful, and quick to respond during the planning process. Any time I e-mailed them to ask a question they replied on the same day and were always reassuring and helpful. They learned a new song to play as our first dance, and when they played it at the wedding they did an incredible job. They also changed around their entire second set to be exactly how we wanted it, and on the night they even played a couple of extra songs! Almost every single guest that I have spoken to since the wedding has commented on how fantastic they were, and they got people dancing who haven't danced in a long time! Honestly couldn't have been happier with this hire, I think they are worth a lot more than they charge, and they put on a fantastic show!"

We really hoped that having a live band would take the entertainment to a new level and you guys certainly didn’t disappoint. You absolutely nailed the opening track for us too for our first dance.! "Excellent - we and all our guest thoroughly enjoyed the Black Marc’s, the 2 sets they played was great and they provided music between the sets, we choose this type of entertainment as not a fan of DJ/Disco type entertainment at this type of event. They were very accommodating and even checked what time we wanted them to stay and provide the music up to, thank you both we had a wonderful day. We would recommend the Black Marc’s to anyone young and old??"

"Brilliant! Highly recommended. When booking a musician online there's always a slight doubt that they won't be up-to-scratch. Let me reassure anyone who is looking for a swing singer/musician there is no doubt Gareth is VERY good. Communication through the complete process was great and he delivered exactly what we wanted - traditional with a modern edge for both the older and younger generations to enjoy. He has a fabulous warm voice that brought my Mums birthday surprise to life. His repertoire was large and full of wonderful classic songs each beautifully executed - so much so, I think Sinatra himself would have been impressed. Thank you Gareth!!!!"

"We were contacted by Andrew Elliott who expressed a keen interest in assisting with any of our Help for Heroes Challenges. We are always on the lookout for experienced musicians and so we invited Andrew to join us on our H4H Jubilee Challenge – a trek to light a beacon at the summit of Ben Nevis to celebrate the Queens Diamond Jubilee. Our team of fundraisers were delighted that Andrew was able to join us, he was very easy going and friendly, and everyone commented on how fantastic his impromptu performances were as they trekked up the mountain. He was even happy to perform requests for the passing general public! As the sun was beginning to set, several trekkers were becoming fatigued and starting to slow down. They were delighted to hear Andrew piping from just over the hill; it spurred everyone on and put them in great spirits to reach the summit. Once at the top, Andrew piped while the beacon was being lit – it was a truly spectacular moment which no-one at the summit will ever forget. Andrew is clearly very passionate about his work and this shines through when you watch him perform. We would be delighted to invite him to any other Help for Heroes events in the future. "
