"I hired Rachel to play for an event yesterday at our local golf course. Rachel was an absolute dream and extremely professional from our very first email, communication was brilliant and I knew I could trust her to show up etc. We just wanted some background music whilst our guests enjoyed a buffet etc. singing wasn't required for this event so Rachel was more than happy to just play for us. We requested her to play some soft love ballads, as well as some specific songs. We got exactly what we asked for, soft background music that was so so lovely to listen to, (piano/cocktail bar vibes) Rachel's piano skills are absolutely fantastic. Rachel was already set up and ready to go when we arrived, beautifully presented and it felt like she played constantly for 2.5 hours! the guests ALL said how amazing she was and how it completely lifted the atmosphere of the event. It was such a pleasure to meet Rachel and have her perform for us and I would highly recommend her expertise for any event in the future. 10/10! x"

"Just wanted to drop a quick note to show our appreciation. Alice and I had a fantastic day and the ceili was certainly a highlight. You all played fantastically and the atmosphere in the barn was amazing. We’ve had great feedback from our guests- they all loved the music and dancing. Of those who had been to ceilis before, they said it was the best one they’d been to. Thanks to you all- a brilliant evening. Hope you enjoyed the bratwurst and beers. "Thank you guys for making our wedding day so special. The barn dance was brilliant! We all loved it and we have had so many comments about how good the barn dance was and what fun everybody had. I do wish we had booked you for longer, but then also wish it had not rained. .Thank you so much again, and if you could pass our comments on to the other guys. "I booked Dave for a joint birthday party - for my husband’s 70th and also other family members who are having ‘big’ birthdays this year. And he was perfect. I had researched him online and just loved his music. He was very easy to keep in contact with and delivered everything on the day that I had hoped for. We had approximately 50 adult guests ranging from 20 somethings – 80 year olds and his repertoire was fabulous with something for everyone. He also left streamed music playing before and in between his two live sets. There were ten young (and somewhat enthusiastic) children who all loved his music too and some were dancing very close to him but he wasn’t at all perturbed. All our guests, who included other musicians, commented on how good he was and how much they enjoyed it. Some said that they were fascinated by the ‘live looping’ and how skilled he was at it. My husband had no idea there was going to be live music and it absolutely made his day. Hopefully you’ve gathered by now that I have been really very impressed by Dave. My only regret was that I was kept so busy during the party that I wasn’t able to just sit and listen! Dave, you were exactly what we needed and we would have no hesitation in booking you again or indeed recommending you to others... THANK YOU."

"We had Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band come to perform at our wedding last week and they were simply amazing. With a wide range of ages, abilities and attitudes amongst our guests Blue Jewel had everybody up and involved. Simple to understand instructions and catchy music meant that even our most reluctant guests wanted to get involved. The Ceilidh was our favourite part of the wedding, non stop laughing and even an enjoyable workout! Thank you so much for such a fantastic time. Now to think of the next event we can book you for!!"

"It was a great pleasure to work with you. Everyone was unanimous and strong. There was a great deal of praise for the string quartet, yourself especially and I feel very lucky to have had your expertise and experience to support the choir. It would be good to do a repeat performance but I do not know when that could be. I have a summer concert in May to work on now and the Christmas concerts 2018 and 2019 . If I leave it too long then of course the singers will forget the music and I will have to put in a lot of work to bring it back. Thank you once again for your marvellous music making. " Superfunked played at my friends wedding. Without exception the whole band were fantastic. The choice of songs flowed beautifully and captured the mood perfectly. The singing and band were spot on. On top of that the band were very friendly and gave a really personnel touch to the proceedings. Highly recommended."
