Review Centre: Party Bands

"I booked Latina Festivale for our annual company summer party, seeing as it was a Latin-theme party the band were a perfect fit. The booking process with easy and Latina Festivale was efficient getting over all the information I needed. We split the performances into two, which got more up-tempo as the evening went on. The vocals and quality of the musicians were outstanding and the band blended in well with our guests. The live performance definitely made the party all that more memorable, I certainly recommend booking the band for your next party!"

"With Groove Primitive you can tell that they are dedicated from the first bar, but they also are fun, with a sense of humour. The funk is tight and the rockier songs have soul. Shay’s vocals are strong and she’s backed by some great players. I’ve seen them in bars and clubs, but could imagine them on a journey to filling much bigger venues in the future. Highly Recommended 5 stars – for entertainment and musical virtuosity. "

"We were lucky enough to book Das Brass for our wedding. We wanted something unique for our wedding and asked if they would mind performing as we left the church after our ceremony. Das Brass then led a procession of our guests to the venue and even performed on the boat we had booked to get us there. They really were brilliant and got everyone singing along. One of the main highlights of our day and would 100% recommend booking! The guests raved about them all day!"

"Had Lucy for our wedding singer and she took care of music for the whole day, from ceremony right up to the end of the night and it was perfect. "Brian played with his trio at our wedding. They played our first dance live which was amazing. Brian also played a solo acoustic set at the reception and it was just what we needed. Such a great day!!"

"I cannot believe that it is already a week since the wedding which has really flown by and been a bit of whirlwind! We’ve finally got a chance to take some much needed time out to write to you to say thank you guys SO MUCH for everything that the band did last week to make our wedding amazing! Your sets were incredible, our guests have been raving about you non-stop with many wanting to come and see you again (including us)! It was everything and more than we could have hoped for ever since seeing you play in Twickenham that day back in February. Your rendition of our first dance Sail Away was amazing (and the quality of your performance a significant mismatch to our dancing skills - sorry about that!) - it meant so much that you had learnt the lyrics we edited. Your willingness to let Kintillo get up and do a few numbers (even stealing a few bangers off you!) was so much appreciated and we thought worked so well on the night. Also the early start and late finish for you guys, we hope packing away and the journey home wasn’t too bad for you. And even setting up the speeches PA - it was all so much appreciated. Thank you again, The Leathernecks were a massive part of our special day and we were so utterly impressed by everything in your planning and delivery. We will see you again! "Huge thank you to you and the band for the brilliant performance at our wedding. Tupelo Honey was perfect (although I fear there will be limited opportunities for re-use for you!), I loved Sally Maclennane, it was great to see a lot of people who probably haven't danced in years hit the dance floor, and Nicole particularly enjoyed being the guest drummer on Mustang Sally. We had a lot of people saying how excellent the band was."

"Near Nashville played at our evening wedding celebration and I must say, they were even better than I could have imagined! Kier & Dave have amazing voices, and they were a top quality band! "Ben and the band were superb. They were flexible and helpful before the day as we discussed set content and length. They provided a great jazz trio for the afternoon drinks reception and the full 5-piece band for the evening. The first dance (Fly Me to the Moon) was perfectly played, and the whole set had the guests dancing and singing along. There were several guests who wanted contact details for their own weddings later this year and next. The Blue Suede Shoes really made the evening. "
