"Just dropping by to say thanks a million for playing at our wedding at the gorgeous Trevenna Barns in Cornwall on the 8th July. The acoustic hour with Clare + Ollie during our wedding reception was incredible ? ????‍?? and the entire evening band were also so, SO brilliant ?? Honestly I just wish you could’ve sang for us forever. You guys are everything. I hope our paths cross again sometime in the future."

"We were absolutely delighted with the Groove Allstars band and they exceeded all our expectations. The soul and funk had everyone dancing from the first dance to the end of the evening - and there were some first class dance-offs. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend. "We absolutely loved the SW Funk Collective (or Solar Funky Music - not sure what you’re actually called as your website has a different band name to LMM!) at our wedding. Not only did they do all the simple stuff perfectly (i.e. turning up on time and setting up efficiently with minimal invasion) but their performance was also fantastic. A truly cohesive group of talented musicians who not only do the Motown and funk classics of the 70s proud, but also curated a set list based on our preferences and learnt a song not normally in their repertoire because it mean’t something to us. Their performance was energetic and tight, and no effort was spared (including bringing and playing a slide whistle for just one song). I have already recommended them to several friends for their upcoming weddings. "

"MATFIN provided the entertainment at our charity ball in Plymouth. From the very first contact they were super helpful and extremely professional. Everything literally was Covered. Matt (bandleader) is super quick to respond to enquiries and could not be more helpful. On the night of the event they were set up and ready to go early and on hand to enable us to use their PA for announcements. Once they took the stage the floor immediately filled and stayed like that throughout the evening. A collection of songs to suit everyone with extremely high standards of musicianship throughout the band. MATIFN were a crucial part of making our event such a success. Thank you MATFIN. We highly recommend you to anyone looking to put on a successful event."

"The band were fantastic. There was a really great atmosphere, and the singers and musical talent were brilliant. It made me want to go out and see more live music up close. A fun and lively upbeat band that played music that got everyone on their feet, I would thoroughly recommend them for any party or event. I thought the band were tight, balanced and very professional. Great sound and clearly talented. Groove-alicious!!"

"The Band were the perfect choice for our wedding party. Wonderful musicians, hugely talented, and combining that musicianship with a huge sense of fun. The great thing was that the band really cared about our evening and their role within it. They played all the best party music, with a great mix of styles that appealed to all tastes. The band got everyone up and dancing. A wonderful day, and the band were the extra special bit that made our wedding so memorable. I would definitely use the band again and would recommend them to anyone – they are amazing!” "

"Wow, these guys are just terrific. We went for the 4 piece and they were sensational. All our guests loved them. They were interactive and knew exactly what to play and when. Their manager was incredibly communicative before the event and nothing was too much trouble. Great musicians, great guys and we were thrilled. Thank you."
