"Fantastic communication prior to the wedding. Had a wonderful warm attitude and set up was very straight forward on the day. They sounded amazing in the walled garden during the drinks reception. I would not hesitate to recommend Dave."

"Dependable, adaptable and charming, these guys have been the life of two of our exclusive events, a studio lunch with internationally acclaimed artists Idris Khan and Annie Morris and a Surrealist brunch at Christie's auction house. I would recommend them to all. John, the lead, will listen to what you have in mind and fill the brief perfectly, taking all the necessary steps with the venue to ensure everything is as smooth as jazz on the day. "

"We came across Swing Gitan at the Nottingham Contemporary and were both taken by their energetic and uplifting sound delivered in a skilled and playful fashion. Since then we have had the pleasure of seeing quite a few of their gigs and never been disappointed and so when we were considering who to book for our wedding last august the choice was easy. We wanted music for music lovers that people could also dance to and were no disappointed. The whole process of booking the band and arranging the specifics as well as asking them to learn the Waltz that we intended to dance to was just really straight forward and pleasurable which was certainly helped by Elliott’s easygoing ways and quiet confidence that this would turn out the way we had hoped. We feel very lucky and blessed to have had the good fortune together such good people for our wedding occasion and the presence of Swing Gitan was a large part of that. Indeed, it was a testament to the success of the band that people of all backgrounds and ages loved their performances and demonstrated this through dancing, shouting and cheering throughout the night. Needless to say, we would highly recommend this band to anyone seeking a great sounding and quirky gypsy jazz band! "

"Hi Aly, Richard and I wanted to say thank you very much to you and the band for an excellent wedding ceilidh on Saturday evening. We had an absolutely wonderful evening and a large part of that was thanks to yourselves for providing such a fantastic ceilidh. The calling was great and allowed everyone to get involved even if they had never been to a ceilidh before. The music was second to none & made for a wonderful atmosphere all night.
