You played all of our favourite tunes and set a really pleasant atmosphere for our wedding. You worked with us and knew exactly where to go and when, which was a huge help. "Dorchester Strings were incredible! They played beautifully during our drinks receptions, where is was so lovely to have them playing in the background. They mostly played modern music, that we had requested, so many guests commented saying it was like Bridgerton! Hearing them play was one of the highlights of our day, the only downside was we should have had them for longer as we had to go away for photos during part of our drinks receptions. We would highly recommend Dorchester Strings for any event and perfect for any wedding! "

"Myself and all of my family have so much appreciation and gratitude and cannot thank Billy enough for playing the Bagpipes at my Dad's funeral on June 4th 2024, he played the flower of Scotland and Amazing grace, two of my Dad's favourite tunes and it was absolutely perfect, Billy made the day extra special and he did my Dad proud. "We were blown away on Monday at our wedding. The dance floor was like a Saturday night in a London Club. You would never think it was a Monday night in the countryside during a covid AND a fuel crisis. Thanks to you for playing sax with such passion. Everyone raved about you and complimented us on what a good idea it was to have you playing with the music. Thanks for also restoring a little structure as time really ran away with us."

"Kate played for our wedding ceremony at All Saints Church Strelley Village and during our reception at Swancar Farm Country House on 30/8/2014. Kate delivered a perfect performance at the church and also during our reception. I was honored to have Kate play at our Wedding especially as I had previously had violin lessons with her. During our reception Kate mingled casually amongst the tables taking requests from our guests without being imposing. You knew where Kate was because you could hear the music of Angels coming from her direction. Kate has the fantastic aptitude that she does not need music notes to play. She can listen to a piece of music that she hasn’t heard before (eg: like she did with Ukrainian music for us) and just play it. Kate is an absolutely brilliant and talented musician. I recommend Kate 100% . You will be ecstatic with her performance. "

"Ruth played the harp at our wedding at Highfield House in Driffield and, quite simply, the day would not have been the same without her! She was very accommodating of our musical choices, communicative and responsive in the run-up to the Big Day, and highly professional on the day itself. She played at the ceremony and during the drinks reception and added a touch of class to proceedings. Highly recommended!"
