Review Centre: Singers (Pop/Rock)

"This was a tough one because we only took over Los Balcones this year. We hadn't had any live music on up to this point. Someone told us Jon Stevens was playing at one of the bars in El Salvador, Mazzaron. We both headed over and the place was packed. We managed to catch about 5 songs as he was finishing up. Everyone was loving it, and didn't want him to finish. We ended up pulling him to one side and asked him to play Los Balcones the following Sunday. The guy even came down in the week to check out where he'd be playing and talk us through what we wanted. Unbelievable! The Sunday was an afternoon gig 4-6pm. Normally people would be leaving at this time but every single person stayed to watch Jon till the end. Jon played on the outdoor terrace in about 38 degrees under a parasol. What a fab afternoon. Everyone loved it and even out German friend got up on the Bongos when he played sweet home Alabama for someone's birthday . He is the first person we have had on here since taking over and he's really set the bar high now. I think we will struggle to find anyone as good, so will be very picky in the future. Can't wait to have him back soon, and he's becoming very popular now in the Murcian region of Spain. P.S... our takings were up massively as we were ramned to full capacity, so we fed his family and him for free to say thank you, Not that there was much food left haha. "The club booked Nick after coming very highly rated so we had high expectations and he delivered everything and more. I personally have never seen another musician play a guitar like that and his vocals were spot on all night so a fabulous combination. The first half was mainly 50’s and 60’s then the second half was a mixture of 50’s 60’s 70’s 80’s plus Motown and a wonderful section of reggae. He is returning in December to play for the clubs Christmas party and again for valentines next year so needless to say an amazing success."

"We were first lucky enough to hear Kyle last summer at my birthday party and instantly wowed over by his amazing talent. Aswell as having an amazing voice, it was soon clear to see what a lovely and genuinely kind guy too! He made such a good impression on my party guests, for weeks people were talking about him and asking us about him! So this year, when we had our little girls christening, we Just knew we had to have him again! We even asked a huge favour to see if he could learn and play one of our favourite ( and hard ) songs. He absolutely smashed it, and most probably totally out of his usual song style comfort. Can’t even tell you how happy we are we had him play, soon as he started playing and singing all my stress of hosting went, all the guests soon relaxed and he set such a lovely mood and great atmosphere for the day. And all day people coming up to us saying how amazing he was! You can’t help but fall in love with kyles singing and guitar skills, his personality just tops it off to be the perfect party entertainer because he actually cares and wants you enjoy your event too! We just wish we knew him earlier and had him at our wedding. Any event we have, we will be booking Kyle and continue to recommend him to everyone we know as his talent needs to be out there! Thanks for being so fab Kyle!!"

"We booked Paula Marie for my Dad's 1940's / 1950's themed 60th birthday party. We couldn't have picked a better act to perform for him, she was absolutely amazing!! Her voice is beautiful, and it was such a pleasure to have her attend and she had come all the way from Yorkshire to Bolton too! If you're thinking of booking a true vintage singer, then Paula Marie is the lady for the job and you will not be disappointed! She also had no issues working alongside our DJ. I'd just like to say a massive thank you to her for making his day one of a kind and one to remember!! An absolutely outstanding 5 star act!!"

"I recently booked Jon to play a set for my wife’s birthday in our garden after about 10 seconds of hearing him cover a song by Adele which blew me away. He was absolutely fantastic and his vocals were incredible, he absolutely smashed it whilst also putting on a great show, engaging with the crowd and also giving us a few laughs in between songs. I would not hesitate to book him again for future events. Highly recommended!"

"Olivia Marie arrived on time and was set up ready for the agreed performance time. She was able to well judge the style of music to suit and was great at giving the guests a really good afternoon of entertainment. With very good vocals, I would recommend her for any event."

"I've seen Jack Randle perform three times; with his band for a 60th birthday party, again with his band for a 50th birthday party, and then solo, as the Sound of Sinatra, at a charity event. He is brilliant! Charismatic, professional and talented. I'm now trying to invent a special occasion so that I can employ him myself!"

"We really felt connected to everyone in the venue, everybody participated in the live songwriting session, all our ideas mixed together... we made 3 songs and it felt like all the strangers had known each other forever... It really is a type of show that is more a journey to a different destination, and one that brings people together, for real."
