Great communication and really reasonable fee for such an amazing band. The crowd loved the band and the variety of music they played was spot on. I cannot recommend them highly enough! "Only we could host a wedding in a yurt, on top of a very high hill, on an August day with a severe weather warning! High winds enforced an evacuation during the wedding breakfast, which was still underway and running late when the band arrived to set up…..They carried on regardless, with the added complication of a short power cut, and provided a fantastic evening of entertainment for our wedding guests! The dance floor was full all night and a great time was had by all…..thanks House of Chords, it was memorable!"

"Nev and Russ are great in a pub, getting people singing along to songs from different decades that people know. They have a tight sound with two guitars and vocal harmonies. With just the two of them they can fit into a fairly small space. They also adapted really well to our family friendly early evening music night with lots of younger children and parents. They relate well to all ages, come across as friendly and just happy to be making music, which is infectious. "

"Best Band Ever! These guys had been recommended to me for my 40th Birthday Party. It was great Gatsby/Peaky Blinder themed and they all dressed up for the occasion! They were great fun and had everyone up dancing all night, we didn't want them to leave! They even learnt a couple of my fave songs last min! Amazing set list.....Can highly recommend these lovely talented guys."

"We booked Velvet Metal for our wedding reception and they absolutely blew us away. From the very first track, the whole vibe shifted—suddenly it wasn’t just a wedding, it felt like a proper metal show (in the best way imaginable). "The band were absolutely fantastic with some great covers. The dance floor was constantly full and they were long talked about in the days following the function. Further more they were top lads and their interaction with all at the function made them special. I've been listening to their current album in the car constantly looking forward to seeing them again in the future."
