"Mel is my ‘first call’ session singer. Whether it’s a rip-roaring rock song or an emotional ballad, Mel has an uncanny ability to find just the right mood and approach in her vocal performance to compliment the song perfectly. She is able to quickly understand what the songwriter and/or producer is trying to achieve and by using a balance of her exquisite tone and perfectly honed technique she is always able to come up with exactly what is required. Added to that, Mel is a joy to work with in the studio with a fantastic attitude and work ethic. She gets the job done!"

"My wife and I booked The Mustangs to play our wedding held a few weekends back and we were absolutely blown away by them! Their sound and deliverance were fantastic, everyone was up and dancing straight away. They looked the part and could really knock through their set-list. We've had so many compliments from our family and guests about the band and they really were one of the biggest highlights of the day. "

"Swing is the Thing played at our wedding and were absolutely sensational. Suzanne and all the band contributed to making our wedding absolutely fantastic. The music was perfect and every single guest commented on how brilliant the group was. They adapted to our schedule, had been in touch beforehand to enquire as to whether or not we had any particular requests, and tailored their performance to our evening. From dedicating a special song to the two of us, to performing in a charismatic, lively and thoroughly enthusiastic way, we couldn't have wished for a better band or nicer group of people. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this band for any event - they were well and truly fabulous and we feel so grateful that they played for our wedding. Even their outfits contributed to creating a fantastic atmosphere! Thank you Swing is the Thing!"

So many of our guests commented to us about how brilliant you were; one of them even wanted to book you for her daughter's 18th birthday! We were very pleased with the set list, and I think you'll agree that we had many friends and family who were willing to drop their inhibitions and dance the night away, the dance floor was regularly packed which was just how we wanted it to be. His talent is very clear and he has the ability to bring together pieces with his co-musicians in a very engaging way that is always enjoyable. "

"The Warm Room at Coleshill Town hall held a VE day celebration party on 8th May this year and was entertained by the most wonderful and most talented Ruby Sings. Not only did she sing in a beautiful voice, her choice of songs, the costumes and engagement with the audience made for a superb day and brought back memories for those old enough and a good old knees up for us all.
