"Rachel sang at our recent WI Xmas Party. Her repertoire was thoughtful, really varied and appropriate, as the women range in age from 50-92. She arrived on time, was pleasant and friendly. "Think prohibition, speakeasy , stripped back raw blues , soul searching sadness counter balanced with hope and optimism. Ma Bessie and her Blues Troupe exceeded all expectations with a great narrative and music show at Bridgwater Art Center . Close your eyes and listen to Julia Titus a powerful voice packed with emotion and expression and you were back in the 1920's and 1930's. From performing in tents, speakeasies to Vaudeville to becoming the blues singer of the era . Bessie Smith was a legend . Ma Bessie and the Blues Troupe supported by The Rag and Moan Men are not to be missed!!"

She helped from day one with song/hymn choices, always kept in touch and so professional. On the wedding day when she stared to sing it was absolutely amazing.
