"We managed to secure the services of bagpiper, Bagpiper South Wales, through Last Minute Musicians. The event was the funeral of my dad, a staunch Scotsman, even though he had lived in Wales for most of his life. Throughout the whole process John was a true professional. He kept me updated with any details and helped to support me with what was needed (I had never been to a funeral where there was a bagpiper so had no idea what to request). On the day, John was amazing and the pipes certainly added something special to what was a very emotional time. I would have no hesitation in recommending John to anyone for their event."

"Hi Billy, Sorry it has taken so long to send you this, but we have been away on our honeymoon and only just got all the photos back from the wedding. We just wanted to say a massive thank you for piping at our wedding on Saturday 8th June in Teversal. You sounded absolutely amazing and I have had so many people comment on how good you was. The bag pipe gives me goose bumps anyway, but I was blown away with it, it all sounded amazing! My only regret is that we didn't get the wedding recorded by video (I would love to watch some of you playing again!). Once again, thank you for making our day as perfect as it was and if I ever hear of anyone needing a bag piper, I will definitely pass your details on!"

"We booked Billy for our wedding at the Pike and Eel Hotel in Cambridgeshire and he was just incredible! Being Scottish, I really wanted to bring all the Scottish traditions into my wedding day. As soon as I heard Billy warming up outside from the bridal suite window I felt emotional. Billy piped for our guests arriving and they all mentioned how fantastic he was. We also asked him to pipe our groomsmen down the aisle and then to pipe us into dinner as well. Not only is he a super talented piper, he is also a genuinely lovely guy. From the first phone conversation right up until the wedding day he was friendly and professional. Thanks Billy! Charlie and Rehanna"

"Dear Simon, we were delighted that you were able to attend the Malvern Hills Challenge and pipe so many of the walkers in as they crossed the finish line. It all added to the notably happy spirit of the Challenge and certainly gladdened the heart of this old Scottish soldier. "I wanted to book a piper for my dad's wedding at very short notice, less than a week! Colin responded to my message very quickly and luckily he was available. Although I couldn't give him much information straight away ie times, songs etc and probably only being given a day to prepare by the time he got the information, Colin was very professional and let us get back to him in our own time. On the day Colin played brilliantly, my dad was over the moon and there was a lot of great comments made about him. I would highly recommend to anyone."
