"Jeanne Wilde aka Maxeen George aka Aurore Smets is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist based in London. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Amy Winehouse, Nina Simone, Radiohead, B.B. King, David Bowie, Pink Floyd and many more, Jeanne studied jazz in Paris and has performed in numerous underground bands. Recognised not only for her stormy, magnetic stage presence, Jeanne’s voice is instantly identifiable by its rich texture and emotional depth. Her original bluesy, jazzy, and contemporary compositions reflect decades of encounters with people met around the world. From busking in Berlin, London, and Paris, to playing in legendary pubs such as the Anchor and the Neptune, to appearing at renowned festivals and iconic venues including Le Chat Noir, The New Morning, and The Batofar; she is known for her remarkable ability to improvise effortlessly and at length across any genre, she attributes this skill to her synaesthesia—experiencing music visually, as if watching a film. "Just returned from the show at Stamford this evening 22 Nov. Outstanding musical ability, total enthusiasm and hard work, which produced a sound which defied any attempt to keep your hands or feet from moving! They love their music and it showed. It was an superb evening and I will be back."

"Absolutely fabulous. The Artist’s performance was exactly what we wanted. Brilliant performance. Made my mums 100th Birthday extra special. She was very pleased. Everyone commented on how fabulous she was. It gave the day a great atmosphere. Would recommend her to anyone looking for a singer to entertain. From old time to new all were performed perfectly. People were asking her to keep singing at the end of the session. She performed 4 or 5 extra song’s for everyone. Even got people dancing. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC"

"Booked Andy to play at my 50th. All I can say is wow. He was great. Nothing was too much trouble and he put on such a good show, even the Mrs was Impressed (anyone who knows the Mrs will know that she is not easily impressed!) My party guests all loved him too. Had a very Happy Birthday, and Andy was a very big part of that. Thanks again Andy. Fantastic. Will definitely be booking you again in the future."

"Bethany played for my wife,'s 70th birthday party last Saturday. The quality of the music and the professionalism displayed was outstanding. That lady has an amazing voice The mix of songs meant if you were five or seventy five you would enjoy it. Everyone was singing or dancing to the music right from start to finish. They made our night."
