"We thought Down for the Count did an outstanding job and so did all of our friends and family. Everyone could not stop raving about how great the music was. Honestly, we wouldn't have changed a thing and were so impressed. Most of all, it was so special to hear New York, New York as a closing song and we really appreciate your initiative to create those extra special touches for us! Without a doubt, we would recommend Down for the Count to any other friends getting married."

"Jimmy was amazing! He was super friendly and really accommodating. We were quite specific with the songs we wanted him to play but he was happy to be flexible. We really appreciated the call from Jimmy a couple of weeks before the wedding, on the day he was organised and everything ran on time. The music was great and he did a fantastic job! "I cannot recommend Girl Got Soul highly enough. We weren't sure if having a wedding band would be a sensible use of our budget, but we're so glad we hired Girl Got Soul. They went down a storm. The singing is beautiful, they got our guests dancing, and they were great fun to watch. We had one set of Jazz (All That Jazz) and one party set, and both were great. Communication was excellent, the band worked with me on the setlist and were very nice in reassuring me that my requests weren't bridezilla-ish. :)"

"Thank you so much for performing for us at the Company's Platinum Celebration Dinner and Dance at the Institute of Engineers London HQ, One Great George Street and for agreeing to travel so far to do so. This year we were asked by our CEO to make it a particularly special event as Croudace is celebrating its 70th anniversary; we have been building houses since the company was set up in 1946 at the end of WWII. All 260 guests had a fabulous evening, enjoying a Champagne flight on the London Eye, the wonderful dinner and dancing into the early hours, but you were the brightest highlight by far and made the evening a most memorable occasion for us all. So many people have commented this week how much they had enjoyed themselves and your performance in particular generated a great many complimentary remarks. One table particularly enjoyed singing along with Que Sera Sera and we were all knocked out by the beauty, power and range of your voice, especially in Nessun Dorma, which had us all cheering and wanting to hear more. You were the perfect cherry on top of a wonderful cake. You are an extremely talented and accomplished singer, Gemma and I'm sure you have great future ahead of you. I wish you all the luck in the world in reaching your goal and hope that you find happiness along every step of the way. You deserve to be successful and you have all the necessary ingredients to be successful; a passionate love of music, a desire to please, a charismatic personality, you are a beautiful and elegant young lady and you have the most superb voice, a voice that deserves to be heard. Thank you for being so flexible and easy to work with, you are an organiser's dream and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to anyone. "Ella exceeded expectations. Very professional and personable. Ella had a lot of fans in the room by the end of her set and we could have quite easily enjoyed more than the 2 hours. Brilliant vocalist, song choices and medley's. It was perfect for the occasion. Will look to book again."

"Absolutely fantastic! We got married in February this year and from the beginning, they were easily contactable with lots of options for band size which was very helpful. We went for a band and DJ option and extended the dj finishing time too. In the night, they were fantastic. They accomadated one of our guests singing our 1st dance and from then the dance floor was full. One of our guests was also our videograoher and commented afterwards about how there was no 'down time' or 'lull' in the night as the band and DJ read the room well and kept the dance floor full. As someone who is often on the dance floor on my own, this was exactly what I wanted for my wedding! There were points where they encouraged audience participation, with my dad reliving his youth singing with them, and apparently my and a friend 'helping' with a song too. I cannot recommend these guys enough! Thankyou for keeping people dancing well into the night!"

"We have a firm reputation for having some of the best party function bands on a Fiday and Saturday. The Marvellous Motown Souls are up there with our top acts and always have people dancing. They get here early enough to setup some very impressive lights, its not just the band you get, its a party atmosphere for sure. Liz is great with the crowd and always goes out of her way to make it special for any birthday or hen parties we have in on the night. The sets are kept fresh each time and they often play acoustic as an extra for free if the mood suits which people love and we appreciate. We would recommenced booking this band with no question, lovely reliable people and a pleasure to deal with. :)"
