"The Blue Suede Shoes recently played at our wedding near Winchester. In the lead-up, the band were responsive, flexible and professional. They learned a song especially for our first dance, which was great. On the day The Blue Suede Shoes were fantastic: a funky style which got everyone moving. They really added to the occasion which would not have been the same without them."

"We wanted something a little different for our wedding — not just the typical DJ playing the same songs on repeat. Since we absolutely love live music, we knew the band had to be something special. When I came across South West Band on Instagram, I was instantly blown away. From the first clip I saw, I knew they were the ones. Not only are they unbelievably talented, but they also know exactly how to get the crowd hyped and keep the dance floor full all night long. Honestly, BOOK THEM — it’s an absolute must! They were one of the best parts of our entire day, and we have zero regrets. If we could do it all over again, we’d choose them in a heartbeat. 10/10, without a doubt!"

"Thank you so much for the lovely music you and the band played at my dad’s 80th Birthday. All the guest including dad really enjoyed it. It was very classy and contributed to a very elegant evening. You and your other band members were so lovely to deal with and I would definitely hire you again as well as recommend you to anyone you wants to hire a steel band - I have passed your number on to a few people now. Your professionalism was second to none and I really enjoyed your company. I felt the music selection was perfect and beautifully played by you and the band. I did however, get a bit of a backlash from a few guests who felt I should have hired you for the whole night, but we will consider that for next time. Thank you to all of you we all really enjoyed it. Best wishes Sandra"

"We hired Kirsty for a Nineties themed parted at Defence Academy. A consultation was conducted ahead of the event to confirm access, power, and location etc, ensuring that everything was set up in time, in the right location, without having to bother the organisers on the night. The set list was excellent and had been put together following the consultation. Kirsty managed the energy of the room perfectly and the set up was highly professional. Would definitely hire again."

"The swinging Santas have become an integral part of Burnley FC's festive fixture for a number of years now, They provide a lively, engaging and hugely entertaining dose of Christmas cheer to all areas of our stadium. They entertain Fanzone guests, all corporate lounges. Our guests love the engagement and people have started to book corporate seats especially to see them in action! "We booked South West Band for our wedding which happened a few weeks ago, and we could not recommend them enough! They are true professionals, bringing so much fun to the stage, not to mention talent. Our wedding was on a Monday, but they made it feel like a Saturday night with the level of energy they brought to our evening party! I'm also a singer, and they were gracious enough to let me join them for a few songs. It was so meaningful for me to be able to sing at my own wedding, and I'm endlessly grateful to them for the opportunity to do it! Their repertoire is extensive, and they were really open to hearing our song requests / songs we'd rather not have, meaning that the playlist felt really tailored to our tastes. We also booked their DJ package, which I would highly recommend if you want something a little different to the bog standard wedding hits you usually hear! They also played our first dance, a slowed down arrangement of a Lewis Capaldi track, which was just perfect. If you want a fun, lively party band with an incredible setlist, South West Band are a no-brainer."
