"Just wanted to say a huge thank you for playing at our wedding on 28th July. You we’re awesome! I spent ages looking at bands for our wedding as for me, a band can make or break the evening. Although I liked what I heard on your website, it doesn’t do you justice to when you play live! When Rob and I heard you sound checking we both looked at each other and thought, these guys sound really good. But when you actually started playing, you had the whole wedding party dancing for the entire evening, you absolutely rocked the place! We had nothing but compliments on how great our band were, and I hope you don’t mind but I’ve passed on your details to a few people who requested them. I really hope we get the opportunity to book you guys again for any future parties we have! "

"Wow, what a singer! Lucy was an absolute star, travelling up from London with her guitarist to my party in the Midlands to help me out at short notice, as I was struggling to find an act I liked and was available for my birthday party. What I didn't realise was, not only is she absolutely lovely but she has an amazing voice, great range, a huge variety of songs and she even did me an Elvis number by special request. Her guitarist was a quality act too. I know there are lots of 10/10 ratings on here, but seriously I don't think you could give Lucy any less, if you hire her, she will make your event a special one. "

"We enjoyed such an incredible night with this band - super high energy , great atmosphere and extremely talented musicians! They really know how to get the crowd going and played everyone’s favourite 80s songs. The dance floor was always full ! We’d definitely recommend the 80s Live Band for any party!"

"What can we say …….? We were nervous and apprehensive to book a band through the internet, having never done this before. However, having listened to The Bee Gees Tribute demo (fantastic!!) and being supported through every stage of the booking process … we knew we had picked the best. The Bee Gees Tribute was brilliant and exceeded all expectations…. What a night!!! Great support and service given and received. We would recommend The Bee Gees Tribute without any hesitation. "Funky Friday stood out from the many bands we looked through when choosing a band for our wedding. Their promo video was by far the most impressive, and on our day, they blew us away. The energy they brought to the dance floor combined with the interaction with all of our guests, made their performance truly unforgettable. They looked stunning, and sounded even better! When their set finished, they were generous enough to let us keep using their PA system to keep the party going! We recommend Funky Friday for any occasion -- you don't want to miss out on these guys (and girl)! Thanks for rocking our wedding!"

"I was given the responsibility of choosing the entertainment for our wedding and I knew I had found the right group when I came across Detroit Deluxe. Their repertoire of songs stood out from the others as they cover multiple genres without all the modern cliché covers. The vocalists were outstanding and spent time with us chatting after the 2 sets which was a really nice moment. I have had several guests ask me for their details after the wedding. They were outstanding professionals and had people on the dance floor all evening. They suggested us a set list and we changed a few of the tracks with no issue. Their cover of our chosen track by Ben Howard was exceptional and still gives me goosebumps when I listen back to it now. Thanks so much to the band and say no more I would of course recommend them. They truly made our day. "

"What a night we had with these guys last night! ??? Booked last minute for an event for our Charity. Not only was the music great but the way they interacted with the individuals we support was incredible. They were so inclusive, making everyone feel part of the night, laughing and having fun and taking requests, even when it wasn't something they'd done before. People danced from the moment they started playing right until the very end. I can't thank you all enough "

They learnt and performed our first dance song, which was wonderful. The variety of songs was brilliant. My guests were hounding them for more when they finished!! "
