"The Line Up were spot on for our wedding. Very flexible in what we asked them to play, all great musicians, but with a great sense of humour. Feedback from the guests was that everyone had a great time and the dance floor was full all night. Made the evening do for us! "

"We just wanted to write you a quick note to say thank-you for your amazing performance on Saturday. Everyone danced all night and you hit exactly the right atmosphere the whole way through. A special thank-you for learning our first dance and also for playing ‘Africa’ – we’re guessing you noticed it was a pretty popular one. "In my time as the general manager of The One O’clock Gun, I was able to work with a number of outstanding local musical talents and Mike was by far one of the stand-out performers. My team and I were all in agreement after his first gig that, along with his soothing vocals, his guitar abilities are outstanding and we wanted to have him back ASAP! Mike soon after became a regular in our weekly line up and his talents seemed to grow each time he played, Mike’s ability to read a room and tailor his sets accordingly was very impressive, as well as this he always had new material to boast where most other performers had a limited and repetitive set list and this is a massive advantage in his industry. To top it all off, Mike’s an extremely friendly, professional and punctual artist who I have kept in touch with and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a top talent."

"The band were absolutely excellent. Communications with Rhona before hand were very good and she made sure everything was clear before the date. The band were very professional on the day and it went completely smoothly. I'm very pleased with booking them. They sounded brilliant during their set. Could not recommend enough. "

"More like full house than housewarming! Friends and relations all said they would pop in during the evening but none went home again! Gary had them all up dancing including my mother who never sat down. She loved dancing to the slow numbers too. Can't wait to move again. Nice one Gary; nice one son!!"

"Having reached the ripe old age of 65 this year, my partner organised a big Grumpy Old Gits Retirement Party for me in a marquee in our garden in Pangbourne. We had over 120 attend & most guests came dressed up as Old Gits (Victor Meldrew, Alf Garnet, Compo, Nora Batty etc.) and we needed a local band to get the place rocking, with a wide variety of covers from the 50's to the present day. Found Mike's band Back2Back (just up the road in Wantage) on this site and were not dissapointed. Fantastic set, got everyone up dancing, entertained us with humour between songs and even threw in a wireless solo guitar trip around the whole marquee. Very impressive PA sytem and lights, all remotely controlled by their own Sound Engineer and six musicians who know how to put on a very professional and tight sounding show. Everyone kept asking how we could afford such a good band. The nice thing is, they were so reasonable, we still had change out of our budget to spend the rest on a decent firework display at 10:30 in the evening, and after that, the band played on!! They were so good in fact, that as we organise the annual Pangbourne Village Fete each year, we have booked them as our main act for the second weekend in June 2019. I advise you try them out for your event before then (or come to the fete next year). Absolute rockers, thanks Mike and the rest of the band, see you in June, if not before at another event. "We hired the Fortes for our 20th Wedding Anniversary celebrations. The service was excellent and the band were brilliant. Really good range of songs from different eras and great performance.We had some confusion due to change of lead singer but the band did their best to ensure we had the music we wanted and even used their PA system for a playlist we had created for between sets. Would highly recommend."
