"TONY AND THE BAND WERE AMAZING!!! We hired them for our wedding and genuinely people are still talking about how great they were 3months later. Tony was brill and he met with us to go through and accommodate what we were looking for including a request to play a particular song for the first dance. Thank you for making our day so special. If you're looking for a great Soul/Motown band then look no further."

"Well, we went along to the Clutha benefit gig in The Classic Grand, there were such a choice of great bands to choose from on 2 floors, The Mrs & I were downstairs as it was mostly rock bands and we had a seat, so the bands changed again & again until I heard the next band was a Ceilidh band, quite a few were looking around sort of laughing as if how’s this gonna fit in with the night, so there's now quite a few people sitting down waiting, so on comes as expected the usual accordion, fiddle,drummer & guitarist set up, and then it began, the accordion started then in came the fiddle then this electric rock guitar and ass-kicking rock drum beat, and low and behold before you know it everybody's on their feet standing poking their heads up and down to see who the hell was making this amazingly blended sound of rock & Scottish folk, the accordion player’s fingers were impossible to track as they rolled up and down the board, and the fiddle was just about glowing to match, topped off with a great guitar and drums, with bits of Pink Floyd through to Miley Cyrus flung in, hard to believe but true, and all served up for your ears to savour at 100 mph, the whole place became electric, it was amazing to listen to and stunning to watch, I can’t say enough how much we enjoyed this band, We got talking to David (the accordion player) and his family afterwards and found him such a laugh & such a nice family, highlight of the night, so thanks to The Shooglers your time & talent is very well spent and it shows cheers. "

"Kris and the band were extremely professional and polite all through the booking process right up to the day. Great communication and absolutely amazing performance. They had everyone up and dancing from the start to the end. We will defo be booking them again if we ever need another band. Thanks so much guys. "

"Absolute stars from start to finish, they kept the dance floor full all night with all ages! I have used these guys for a number of events over the years, most recently (and most importantly) my wedding last year and they have never failed to deliver. They are absolutely astounding, such energy, professionalism and service, I think you would struggle to find anyone to best them! I would highly recommend to a friend (and have done so) and would have them at any future events without hesitation. Good in any situation, they have dealt with the difficulties of extra security at military bases and rather more complex logistical arrangements with no fuss."

"Of all the bands that performed that day at our event, Ciro and his band was definitely the one we were looking forward to seeing. What can I say, we were already impressed with his voice and energy in the demo videos we watched but we certainly didn't expect to be in front of a real showman! We had a lot of fun and didn't stop dancing for the duration of both sets. What a voice, guys! Highly recommended "

"Just wanted to email you to thank you and your team for helping us to organise The Line Up for the wedding. The chaps in the band were great fun, friendly, amusing and played brilliantly. Everyone enjoyed it, and the dance floor was filled all night. They even played slightly longer than they intended, as everyone wanted more. The day itself went perfectly, and we're still buzzing from the whole thing. Now looking forward to our honeymoon cruise this coming Sunday. "Booking through last minute musicians was professional and easy! The Lost (band we booked) Adam was really good throughout the booking, responding to emails quickly, providing an extensive set list to pick songs we definitely wanted, ones we didn’t mind either way and ones we didn’t want. He also sent a test clip singing our first dance song to see if we wanted the track or the band - we definitely wanted the band! The band were so good and kept a full dance floor all night, throughout their sets and DJ’ing. They had a friendly and professional attitude. Thanks so much! Ellie & Tom"

"Absolutely breathtaking! Just couldn't stop saying 'wow'! So professional with a quirky twist. The music was extremely engaging right from the start and the dancing got everyone up on their feet. "We attended our friends wedding reception on Saturday evening and this band were beyond amazing. Great songs played all night, drummer, base and lead guitar/vocals were outstanding & they kept everyone on the dance floor. I’d love to hear them again. Would recommend to anyone looking for superb entertainment for any kind of function! "

"We hired the Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio for my 50th birthday and absolutely loved it. Everyone joined in with the dancing and all the dances were explained really well so it was easy to involve everyone – even the children! It was during the immense heatwave that we had in May but this didn’t stop us or the band from having a lot of fun! Thank you so much for an amazing day. We would definitely hire them again."
