"I asked The River Jazz Quartet to play at my mother's funeral and wake: her will specified "New Orleans music to cheer the attenders" and The River Jazz Quartet filled the role perfectly. At the wake they changed to the sort of 1930's and 40's swing that Mother grew up with, and also played one of Jan's own compositions from the 1970's as a special treat. The matter was dealt with professionally, with the band giving good advice in advance and turning up in good time on the day. Highly recommended."

"Soli Strings were absolutely perfect. They opened our wedding ceremony and accompanied it and our reception with the most beautiful music. As soon as they started playing the atmosphere was suddenly magical and they made it all seem effortless. On top of that they are wonderful people, we had people commenting all day on how nice they were and how well they played! Somehow they sound even better in person than their recordings. It was genuinely breathtaking on the day and they managed to fill an outdoor space with music easily. They performed two 45 minute sets and would absolutely recommend that as it flew by, we certainly wouldn't have wanted less! Thank you Soli Strings!"

"From start to finish Jeremy and the Jazz Prescription were incredible!!! from my (now) husband(!) arranging the initial plans, to our chat ahead of the wedding to the amazing professionalism on the day from Jeremy and all the musicians we couldn't have asked for anything better. The sax and bass duo during the drinks reception was so wonderful and really brought an extra special feeling to the day! Then for the evening, they appeared as if by magic set up and ready to go and had everyone on the dancefloor from start to finish. It was so wonderful to see our guests of all ages and music tastes up and dancing on the dancefloor, especially the ones that claim they don't dance!! I honestly do not have enough words to explain how marvellous they were to have as part of our wedding and the feedback from our guests both with their dancing and their comments afterwards showed us what we already knew, how fantastic they were. They have also added to their fanbase as I know some of our guests have started making plans to watch them perform again and we would love to have them be part of future events if we are lucky enough!! Thank you for being a part of creating some wonderful memories of our wedding day that we will treasure forever!! Laura and Jacques"
