"Gordon performed at our wedding for us and was fantastic. His singing was lovely and we felt it made our first dance that little more special than having it played from the soundtrack. We had guests up dancing (specifically my little neice who said it was her favourite part of the day), and as the night progressed, the theme of music changed into a little heavy rock. Gordon was more than happy to accommodate this. Thankyou for being a part of the most amazing day of our lives Gordon. We would certainly recommend you to others! "

"Picked Paul from about 20 musicians from his sound track . He was absolutely excellent great voice and he certainly got the party going .. he also learnt a couple of special songs for us .. I highly recommend him very nice guy as an added bonus!!! Would definitely use him again !!"

"Nessa's a great entertainer with plenty of aces up her sleeve. Her style on stage is very charming and easily accessible to all. Musically she has always pleasantly surprised me with both instrumental and vocal skill, and excellent judgement in picking songs for an audience!"

"I would just like to thank Olivia for the outstanding send off she gave to my beautiful mother, on request she sang Ave Maria in the chapel and lovely hymns and for a turn out of 400 people every single person was saying how beautiful your voice was. What a pleasure to work with and coming back to the wake and singing gorgeous songs my whole family loved it so on behalf of myself and my family we would like to thank you for making the hardest day of our lives a very memorable and special day. It was a pleasure to play at this event! I was originally booked to play 90 minutes, but ended up playing for 120 minutes, with lots of lovely comments from the customers and the staff at the event. Would most definitely love to be a part of this again and would recommend for other musicians, Charlotte was a delightful organiser/host!

"Thank you so much for everything that you and the band did on the wedding day. You were all absolutely fantastic and I have to say, I couldn't get onto the dance floor at times as it was so packed!! Everyone commented on how great the band was and I know for a fact another couple that are getting married have enquired about you. We went to a wedding at Mallory a few months ago and there were many of the same guests so I was desperate for our wedding to be different, having you there made sure of that. Anyway, I could go on and on. Thank you so much for helping to make our day so special!!"

"We booked Chunk of Funk to help us celebrate a significant family occasion. To say they exceeded our expectations is an understatement. The party was originally booked for 2020 but due to Covid it had to be postponed. Steve was happy to hold the booking for as long as we needed and throughout communication was first rate. On the day, they fitted in with everything else that was happening seamlessly. They provided two sets of one hour each and there wasn't a song that wasn't met with whoops and cheers from our guests. They were also more than happy to accommodate song requests. The band were brilliant and the singers exceptional. I would absolutely recommend that anyone booking Chunk of Funk go all out and book the whole band, with brass section, as it makes a huge difference. Chunk of Funk are definitely up there as one of the best party bands. "

"I hired the The Might Craic’s Josh to sing at my post wedding party in a pub. Although id booked them to play early, he had the whole pub dancing at three in the afternoon. He was great Craic my wife and I couldn’t have been more pleased. The music was great, and judged the songs to the audience perfectly to keep everyone dancing. Would defiantly recommend him and use them again for the next family event or party. "

"Jan and the band were absolutely fantastic. The booking process was super easy and Jan was really accommodating, even with the film theme of our party! We had lots of compliments from our guests and the band was a brilliant addition to our party. Heartily recommend!"
