"Great band, we hired them for our wedding reception and they were absolutely fantastic. All of our guests agree, as they have all been messaging me and talking about them for weeks after. Would highly recommend, they will keep you dancing all night."

"We absolutely loved the SW Funk Collective (or Solar Funky Music - not sure what you’re actually called as your website has a different band name to LMM!) at our wedding. Not only did they do all the simple stuff perfectly (i.e. turning up on time and setting up efficiently with minimal invasion) but their performance was also fantastic. A truly cohesive group of talented musicians who not only do the Motown and funk classics of the 70s proud, but also curated a set list based on our preferences and learnt a song not normally in their repertoire because it mean’t something to us. Their performance was energetic and tight, and no effort was spared (including bringing and playing a slide whistle for just one song). I have already recommended them to several friends for their upcoming weddings. "

"I cannot express this enough how amazing and electric your and the band’s performance was!!! We had so many compliments from our guests on your talent, flair and charm. Vicky and I really could not have asked for a better show for our wedding day - you really pulled the crowd together and got everyone (of all ages) dancing! "Just wanted to give a big thank you for playing at my wedding in July 2023. For anyone considering booking Urban Myth, here are the best things about them. Firstly, they sound amazing and even learned my first dance song, which I’ll never forget. From the very start, they gave me all the information I needed and talked me through what usually works best in terms of timings etc. They came early to set up the bulk of their equipment to minimise disruption as our whole day took place in the same room. We also took advantage of a daytime acoustic set which was lovely. The main performance again, wow. Everybody was up dancing, and the night really was the best ever. Thank you so much to all of you for making my day extra special."

"You never what you are going to get sometimes with bands and how audiences will react but this turned out to be a fantastic night with Groove Allstars. A smaller crowd than what the Allstars are probably used to but they interacted and got people up dancing and everyone had a great night with a very popular song list. Requests have gone out for another night already…. Thanks again, a great team to put everything together and really friendly to deal with.
