"Gemma and I would like to thank Thames Valley String Quartet for their beautiful performance at our wedding. From start to finish, they oozed class and were the perfect accompaniment as our guests arrived for drinks and nibbles. Guests of young and old commented on their wonderful repertoire and as a personal surprise, they even arranged a version of our first dance song. As performers, Thames Valley String Quartet are highly skilled, professional and passionate. They take great pride in their work and deliver on the promises they make prior to the performance. "Taylor was the most AMAZING singer, she put all of our favourite songs in the playlist. She got everyone up and dancing and even learnt a song for my Nan who has passed away, it was such a special moment. Id highly recommend her to anyone for any event!"

"10/10, couldn't recommend more. We booked the guys to do the full day at our wedding, from the ceremony right through to midnight and they were fantastic for every minute. They had an amazing mix of sing a long classics, old school anthems, and guest requests, and the personal requests we made were learned and performed perfectly. If you want a band who will take all the stress away on the big day, and have your guests talking about them for days afterwards then you can't do any better than these guys! "I would just like to say a massive thank you, for playing at our wedding 22/7/16. We wanted something a little bit different for our wedding, for our guests to enjoy whilst relaxing at our venue. After finding North West String Quartet on Last Minute Musicians and listening to their fantastic and professional recordings on their website, I got the thumbs up from my very musical brother, and booked them. I was utterly thrilled with their professional service and attention to detail with regards to choosing songs for before, during and after the ceremony. Their repertoire is extensive and current whilst also including some fantastic classical options. There was also the option to select a piece of music that wasn't on the repertoire list. This came at a very small additional cost but was one of the best decisions we made for the day. We had an acoustic version of "Time After Time" put together for the Bridal Party entrance and it was truly stunning. All of our guests commented on how beautifully the music had been arranged. If you ever record this piece please let us know so we can purchase a copy. Following the ceremony you kept our guests entertained and helped to contribute to a fantastic atmosphere. I can't thank you enough. Please do not have any hesitations in booking this fabulous String Quartet, they are truly talented young musicians."

"We booked Nick for a 50th party, all being fans of bands like Queen and also loving anything in the way of 80s music (and we are big 80s movies fans!) we'd been after someone who could play a varied selection outside in the garden. And what a set Nick put on for us! Played in 2 halves with a short break, he must have been playing for the best part of 3 hours in total as everyone kept asking for one more song! Covering hits from from the film Pretty in Pink (wife's fave film), Tom Jones through to the Police and I'm sure someone had him do some heavy rock at one point! Queen hits including a solo version of Bohemian Rhapsody was just out of this world (and the lady who runs their fan club was here to see that one!) But surely the best moment of the night for me was Nick playing Life on Mars in front of my TARDIS when it was all lit up (his set started in daylight and ended late!) Fantastic entertainment and I would highly recommend Nick to anyone looking for that something special for a party, wedding or just an excuse to have a good time with live music!"

"This was my first time using Chris and it was for a musical theatre production of 'Godspell' at the Hasland Theatre. Chris came recommended by a friend of mine (Adam Parrish) after he did the sound engineering for a concert Adam had recently done with Gordon Giltrap. Well what can I say - Chris did an amazing job! He came along for a preliminary meeting with me where we looked around the venue, talked about the requirements for the show which included a live 4 piece band and 10 wireless headset radio mics. Chris then gave a full explanation of what equipment he thought was required to make a great sound within the venue, how much time he would have to dedicate to the project and from that came up with a quote for us. We confirmed it all over email and then it was just a matter of waiting for show week to roll around. This came at the end of March and Chris arrived with all the equipment he needed and got set up ready to go. It was great that the equipment he had was all digital and took up a very small amount of space and that he was able to control it all from his iPad at the back of the theatre, since there was literally no room for him to be anywhere else. Several of the band members commented on how great it was that Chris asked them before every show about their individual monitor mixes, if anything needed changing, if Chris needed to be aware of any issues from previous nights etc and are still talking about it now as something like that which seems really obvious and simple makes a huge difference to those playing and performing. Nothing was too much trouble for Chris even when I had to ask for some additional monitors to be placed on the stage as the actors were struggling to hear the musicians he just turned up with speaker stands and monitors and got them plugged in and ready for the following nights performance. Amazing! It is also important to note Chris's attitude throughout the entire process. Putting on a musical is an exceedingly stressful thing to do and I was having to think about a lot of things throughout the run, but Chris remained calm, level-headed and had a very calming presence which was commented on by several cast members and others within the creative team, which is just what you want in a high stress environment. He was great to work with and lots of laughs were had throughout the week amongst the whole team who he worked well with. A very quick and speedy break down and get out on the Saturday night wrapped everything up nicely. Thanks so much for the time and effort you put into making our show sound amazing and we really cannot wait to be working with you again hopefully in the very near future."
