Review Centre: 1970s & 80s Style Bands

"I was given the responsibility of choosing the entertainment for our wedding and I knew I had found the right group when I came across Detroit Deluxe. Their repertoire of songs stood out from the others as they cover multiple genres without all the modern cliché covers. The vocalists were outstanding and spent time with us chatting after the 2 sets which was a really nice moment. I have had several guests ask me for their details after the wedding. They were outstanding professionals and had people on the dance floor all evening. They suggested us a set list and we changed a few of the tracks with no issue. Their cover of our chosen track by Ben Howard was exceptional and still gives me goosebumps when I listen back to it now. Thanks so much to the band and say no more I would of course recommend them. They truly made our day. "

"I asked Back2Skool Duo to come & play at my 50th Birthday party. They were amazing, I wasn't really sure what to expect, but this band delivered. Plenty of old Skool classics got people on the dance floor. Lots of communication prior to the party to ask my requirements, but to be honest I was happy to let the band do their thing, and they really did their thing! Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a band that really knows how to work the room and get people moving. Thanks for adding that extra special touch to my party."

"We hired Soul75 for our Mum and Dad’s 40th anniversary, and they exceeded expectations! Great vibe, and kept us on the dance floor all night. They also learnt a song specifically for my parents and that was really appreciated. Would recommend!"

"What a performance! We are so pleased that we chose your services for our wedding reception. Entourage are by far the best live party band we have seen. They were amazing! From learning our first dance song and singing it beautifully, to performing Mr Brightside twice (it’s one of my favourites), and then allowing Molly to perform ‘Valerie’ with the band, the evening was perfect. We weren't the easiest client as we organised the wedding from New Zealand (where we live), and held the wedding in London. Jo was communicative, and was an absolutely delight at our wedding! "I wanted to email to say a massive thank you to you and the rest of the band. As I hoped the band was brilliant. Playing the first song was a touch, especially as I wasn’t expecting the sax. It was great to hear you play the Irish Rover after the interval as it got everyone up off their seats in their droves. I’ve been to in excess of 30 weddings and you guys are by far the best gig I’ve seen, and I thought this after I saw you at Caroline and Geoff's wedding. I’ve countless comments from those who were at my wedding saying you were brilliant. Thanks again. I can’t praise you chaps highly enough."
