"It was a pleasure to have Oliver play an hour set for our joint 30/60th birthday party this weekend. From the beginning of the booking he was very accommodating and really easy to get in touch with. Many of our guest commented how brilliant the performance was; the acoustic set worked perfectly for the smallish venue and Oliver sounded fab. His music added something really special to the party! "Just wanted to pass on my thanks to you and Chateaux Swing for their performance yesterday. It was just exactly the best of what I was hoping for when I booked you, they were absolutely brilliant, perfect for the event, and my dad (who’s not been well) loved it. I couldn’t work out how you were going to do a bossa nova with the instruments you had, but I hadn’t factored in the multi talents of your bassist! And I shall never again listen to J’attendrai without thinking of English cats…. I can’t give you anything but love was a particular highlight for me (though actually also come to think of it, Putting on the Ritz and Honeysuckle Rose), but people loved Football’s coming home too; and Sweet Sue went down really well with my mum. It just couldn’t have been better in any way, we were so delighted and they really made the whole day, thank you so much,"

"Simone and Jack, who played Guitar, were just outstanding. The music Simone chose to sing was absolutely fantastic and perfect for the mood of our party. By the time she finished we were dancing the night away! Simone has a strong and beautiful voice and she made our gathering into a party. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to family and friends and hope we have another opportunity in the near future, to hear her sing again."

It really added to the atmosphere with us pumping the sound around the cricket pitch.
