Review Centre: Background Music Bands

"It was an absolute prvilege to have the Sunny Steel Band play during the ceremony and drinks reception at our wedding. The music they played gave the event the exact feel we desired; laid back, chilled and beautiful. The mixture of traditional songs and modern covers were perfect to suit the occasion. The members of the band were very professional and incredibly friendly, so fitted in with our wedding seemlessly...our guests were delighted! Communication before the event was very helpful and swift, making for a stress-free time. I would recommend the band to anyone looking for a professional, friendly and musically gifted expreience. Thank you once again!"

"Dinner Jazz were absolutely fantastic. They created a wonderful vibe for our outdoor summer birthday party. One of the guests is a jazz singer at Uni and they encouraged her to sing a couple of numbers with them, which made for a wonderful moment. They are great musicians and conducted themselves very professionally throughout. Would highly recommend."

"I just wanted to say thank you for all the great communication and help in making Claudio a part of our Wedding. He went down, as you can imagine, fantastically and really got the party atmosphere started. We couldn't fault him and I think he played everything that people requested of him. It made the day just a little different and all of the our guests have been very complimentary! Outstanding performer that effortlessly swept from table to table playing all the songs we recommended plus many spontaneous requests. A true professional that got a fun, party atmosphere started during our wedding breakfast. Thank you to Claudio and Last minute musicians for enhancing our big day!"

"In late May (24) we had the privilege of Mark’s playing at our wedding. It must rank as one of Mark’s smaller gigs as it was at the Bakewell Registry Office where the congregation consisted of my wife and I, our two witnesses, the Registry Office team and a photographer. We wanted a special occasion, just for us and Mark’s magical playing gave us exactly that. Ahead of the event, he asked for any requests for his repertoire for the day and such is his versatility he easily moved between the multiple styles we threw his way. Mark arrived ahead of the ceremony and within a couple of minutes he was set up and playing. A very personable man, it was a pleasure to have his company and his wonderful playing. "I booked the Smokin Mirrors for my wedding and it was MAGICAL. The whole event was running behind and they were so flexible about it, they were prompt, understanding, and they ROCKED! We hired them for the drinks reception and we hired a larger band for after dinner...I received so many more compliments about these women than the 10 piece band we had later on. I should have just held on to them for the whole day! "

"Well what can we say! Lucy was absolutely fantastic arrived on time with her equipment set up ready for the evening. Lucy sang lots of different songs from old to new keeping the ears of our guests entertained ready for more. Lucy was absolutely amazing such a talented lady would love to have Lucy at another event. The only down side was that the evening seemed to go to fast but as the saying goes time flys when your having fun. Would so love to see Lucy again in the future absolutely fantastic performance what an amazing Lady."
