"What a fantastic performance you gave at my 40th party! As promised we really did dance all night and 3 months on people are still talking about the great band I had at the party! People’s faces watching you all walk into the room in costume will remain a very comical memory for a long time! Please pass on my thanks to everyone in the band, it was a complete success! "I came across Alive and Kicking on the site, I liked the video and their song list, so I thought I'd book them for New Year's Eve 2019. I had a date spare for August, so I thought it would be good to get them to play a date before New Year. After a few emails back and forth to Jan, and speaking to Rich, we were all looking forward to them playing at Calmore Community Centre. They were very professional on arrival and setting up, and have to say they went down a storm. A fantastic variety of songs from most eras and all sounded great. I'm very glad we have them for New Year's Eve, and we all can't wait to see them again. "

"The Swans were really easy to work with in the lead up to our event and very accommodating of changes and requests made ahead of the night. They had a really wide catalogue of songs and really engaged well with our customers on the night. I would 100% recommend!"

"I booked Black Velvet Ceilidh Trio for my wife’s 50th Birthday barn dance. The booking process and communication was great. On the night, from the off, everyone was up dancing. The instructions were great and they really got us all into the spirit. Lots of comments from our friends about how good they were. Thanks to all for an amazing night of music and dance. Would definitely recommend. "

"Chris was very friendly, arrived on time and set up with no fuss. He then entertained about 50 of us (including half a dozen restless kids! Sorry Chris!). Great range of songs including some requests. Everyone said Chris was a great alternative to the usual disco at a family party. Wouldn't hesitate to use again."

"The service from Global Grooves was very efficient and Rhona sourced us a good band for our event. Global Grooves are just superb. Fantastic quality and a wide and variable repertoire. Aisha herself is a great party leader as well - well worth the money! "
