"I called Carlos 2 weeks ago to ask if he was available for a surprise proposal party for my daughter. Carlos was charming - informed me that he did have availability, sent me song set list, discussed exactly what was required on the day. Arrived promptly - chatted with our guests, played beautifully. Cant thank him enough for making our party such a special occasion. "

"Excellent singer did a great job doing disco between sets and a great countdown to the new year would highly recommend nothing was to much trouble had great communication from booking up to arrival , any enquires was answered quickly went into great detail of what we wanted with us to ensure everything was covered and the night would go off with out a hitch."

"These guys are absolutely, hands down, fantastic! I really couldn't recommend them enough. They knew exactly how to get the crowd up and dancing and made our NYE a great success - it wouldn't have been half as good without them! Plus everyone loved the way they took requests and played songs that people actually wanted to hear! They are so professional and flexible with what you need/want. Thank you so much to John and all the band - you really are amazing! "

"We booked Straight Up for our wedding in April 2024, and they were absolutely amazing! We were slightly hesitant as we only had the promo video on the website to go off, but the band were even better in person. We loved that they had an extensive list of songs on their repertoire, and they happily played all 32 songs that we requested from that list! Communication prior to the wedding was clear, and the booking process was really easy. The band ensured that the dancefloor was full throughout the night, and we had such great feedback from all of our guests. They even learnt a 'last song' for us rather than a first dance, which was an amazing way to end the night. "

"Fantastic band, playing something for everyone. We saw them by chance at Sherborne castle fireworks and they made the night for us. We'll be seeking out their gigs from now on. Thanks for all of the band members for putting so much energy into the performance."

We will forever talk about the songs played and how much we loved the entire process from our initial enquire to our wedding day. Walking the Aisle to Pretty Woman was a dream come true, a real pinch me moment which I will never forget. Molly thank you so much for being on hand and so professional throughout our booking, you really do go above and beyond for your customers and provide a 5+ star service! Our wedding guests still message and speak to us about the amazing songs which were played and how incredible you all were, a church full of love and atmosphere you could just feel it by having you play was the perfect setting for our guests. "Elma has been a fantastic professional to work with. She has been all over the UK with us, playing with us when we went on tour supporting the Wailers and in massive venues including O2 Academy Birmingham. She showed commitment and flexibility coming to all the rehearsals at short notice and became fluent with her parts very quickly. Elma is a very positive and optimistic individual who is adaptable and a joy to work with."
