"I book these guys as a duo for my partners birthday party. They were amazing. Their talent and unique sound was fantastic. All of our guests were very impressed and I think they may have gained another gig from one of them! They arrived earlier than planned, with their own equipment to set up. These are genuinely nice guys too. I would highly recommend them."

"We booked the Wigornia String Quartet after seeing them at the NEC Wedding Show, 2 years before our wedding! Communication was great and the price was excellent. They were happy to play outside for our wedding ceremony & were able to move inside for the drinks reception, we really appreciated their flexibility! The music was incredible, absolute perfection. Their repertoire was vast & up to date. Our guests of all ages enjoyed music they recognised! Could not recommend them enough, thank you for adding such a special touch to our big day! "Jimmy was incredible throughout the whole booking process. He checked in with me at key times asking for info, sent me all song options and was exceptionally organised throughout which for me was highly reassuring knowing everything was taken care of. The bands performance was impressive! They started off the evening and really got the party vibe going, everyone was up Highly recommend. Thank you so much for making my wedding one to remember! "All, Thank you all so much for playing at our wedding! We thought you were absolutely brilliant during the ceremony and during the reception. Thank you particularly for improvising so well before Emma arrived and I was (more than) a tad nervous... I'm sorry we didn't catch you to thank you in person before you left, the day was a total blur for both of us and I'm not sure we knew what was happening most of the time. We will certainly recommend you to our friend here and in London (and anyone else who will listen)! Thank you again for playing so beautifully. All the best to all of you"

"They were absolutely fantastic. The dance floor was full all night, and they interacted with guests so well. One of our nephews was invited on stage with them for a guitar solo which he LOVED and was such a nice touch. Can't recommend Straight Up enough. "

"H&R acoustics played at our wedding and they were great. They play a wide repertoire of songs, including jazz, soul and Latin music, both ballads and more uptempo numbers. Highly professional duo and there was fantastic feedback from the guests. They are also very easy to deal with, which made our wedding preparations that bit easier. We’d definitely book H&R again! "

"I am finally back at home in the US after lots of delays due to snow and ice. I received lots of positive feedback about your performance at my Dad's birthday party and people who did not even come said that they were sorry that they missed the band. I heard people singing along and that was a positive as I was not able to sit and listen to you. Deciding to have a Steel Band perform was very adventurous for this group, but it worked out well and a good time was had by all."

"Louise , married on 17/11/2025 Just amazing! Katie was amazing, i am still so blown away by how she made our day so special. Everyone absolutely loved her, so so talented and she sang so beautifully! I asked for certain songs in order and nothing was too much to ask! I cannot fault her. She made our day perfect and we are still so grateful now - we still talk about the way she sung the songs, best decision we ever made was making Katie a part of our day!!!"

"We asked Sam Lyon to do some singing for us as we had heard her lovely voice earlier on in the year. We both agreed she was perfect for the job to enlighten the mood at the Lion Keys in July 2017 on our wedding day. We agreed a price together within our budget and she more than delivered and we would of course highly recommend her to all other wedding couples."
