Review Centre: Background Music Bands

"It was an absolute prvilege to have Caribbean Regals Steelband playing at my 30th birthday party. The music played gave the exact feel and mood at the correct times; laid back and chilled while the meal took place then upbeat for dancing and games afterwards. I also asked for a mini workshop so my guests and myself could experience the steel drums. They are definitely not as easy as I thought. Sofia and Rujaun were so patient with everyone even when we kept getting all the notes wrong. Sofia and her son Rujaun are extremely talented professionals who are incredibly friendly and easy to get along with and have a laugh. Sofia’s communication was fantastic and the booking process was so swift and easy making for a stress-free time. I would recommend Sofia and Rujaun to anyone looking for a truly enjoyable, unforgettable performance and experience. Any time I need a steel band this is the first place I’d go. Absolutely Amazing worth every penny and more. Thank you for making my 30th birthday one to remember always."

"I first saw Simone sing at a busy wine bar one Saturday night and was incredibly impressed by her voice and performance in such a crowded bar. I saw her again a few weeks later and I can honestly say she's the best live singer I've ever seen. I was so impressed I booked her to sing at my birthday party in Edinburgh later on that year. She's a wonderful artist and entertained the crowd throughout the night and got everyone up dancing. Very professional and experienced with a beautiful soulful voice and she knows exactly what music to play between sets to keep the party going. She's so good in fact I've just booked her for my wedding next year and can't wait to hear her sing again. Highly recommend Simone for a really special voice and performance."

"We got married at The Ned in July and booked The Romantics to kick off our Champagne reception, we couldn't have asked for a better way to start the celebrations - all the guest were up dancing and singing immediately, just having the BEST time! They are all fantastic musicians and such good fun. Prior to the wedding communication was fantastic, very professional... simply great guys to work with. Don't think about it... Book them! "Matt recently played the Sax at a 70th b'day party along with a colleague/friend on the guitar. Matt was absolutely easy and amazing to work with. The whole process from first calling Matt to the actual day was so seamless. I would with any doubt call upon Matt for future events. "
