"Thank you so much for playing and yes it was lovely and we heard plenty being in the conservatory for photos. The weather was not good but at least we heard more of your music because of it! We had lots of compliments from our guest. Some loved playing ‘Guess the tune?’ and were impressed you knew so many songs without even any music sheets. Another said you really seemed to put your heart and soul into the music! I shall put our comments on the Function Central site shortly. "We had the pleasure of having Andrew as our special guest instrumentalist at Mansfield Sings!' Spring concert. He serenaded us with a selection of easy listening, familar Jazz pieces, melting hearts all over the room. Heads were nodding and feet were tapping as our audience drank in every note. I loved every song, but my personal favourite was Mac the Knife! Andrew's sound system too provided an edge of professionalism, making us feel as if we were in a concert hall or studio, rather than the function room we hired. I was so pleased when Andrew agreed to collaborate with the choir for a couple of songs. His contribution inspired the singers, and I could feel their performance lift as he accompanied with joyful tones. As somebody who also plays in a band with Andrew from time to time, I can also commend his musicianship and commitment to creating special, musical moments with others. I would definitely recommend Andrew, and would invite him again."

"Ross is a fabulous guitarist! His playing is virtuosic and inventive with a clear, sparkling tone. He’s always well prepared with any music I give him in advance and his timing is impeccable - he’s an absolute rock as a rhythm guitarist, but can also bring ‘the fire’ as a soloist when asked to improvise or read music. I can’t recommend Ross highly enough!"

"This is the second year running we have used the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band for our St Patrick''s party, and they were a huge hit again. We had our biggest turnout for an event, making it a very successful fundraiser. A big part of this was people wanting to join in with the Ceilidh fun again, having experienced the band last year. The music and calling were excellent, and the dances were great fun. It was great to try some new dances too. Our guests were already talking about next year as they left!"

"We had a summer barbecue at our venue and was recommended Nick, what a great afternoon had by all of us, the food and beer was flowing and Nick just knew exactly what to play, I have read the reviews on here and can definitely vouch for how good he is, must of played music from the last 6 decades and still they wanted more afterwards. Thankfully I have secured him for some future things we have coming up."

"I recently booked House of Chords to play a gig at my wedding reception party at relatively short notice. The party was held on a Thames river boat cruise in London. I liaised directly with Mike from the outset, and was pleasantly greeted by an exceptionally professional service. Attentive to every detail, Mike addressed all of my concerns promptly ensuring total peace of mind. On the evening of the gig, House of Chords were ready and eager to please when all our guests arrived and delivered the goods musically. They are exceptionally talented musicians with a great, friendly demeanour. The evening was enjoyed immensely by everyone and I would have no reservations whatsoever in recommending House of Chords to anyone to play any gig large or small with minimum of fuss and maximum impact!"

"We hired Fraser and The Cheers to play at our wedding in Dorking at the end of April. They were absolutely fantastic right the way through from the communication and preparation during the run up of the wedding to their actual performance on the day, we couldn't have been more impressed. Their professionalism was second to none and they were so helpful in devising playlists, which they then played in three sets throughout the night. The music was brilliant and meant that even the most reluctant dancers were boogieing away all night! The Cheers even learnt and played our first dance song for us, which was lovely! We can't thank them enough for making the evening of our wedding so memorable! Becky and Matt Kiernan"
