Review Centre: 1970s & 80s Style Bands

"After spending weeks looking for a wedding band who could play more than the standard fare, we were intrigued on seeing their repertoire; finally a band who could satisfy all the guests with a mixture of classy soul, RnB and pop. Once we listened to their demo we were sold; it was clear that Rebecca has the voice of an angel. However, this didn’t prepare us for the performance on the day, which exceeded all expectations. Love songs delivered with heartbreaking beauty and pop that had everyone off their seats until the last note of the evening. Rebecca and the Somerset Soul are a wedding band for the discerning listener who gave us the perfect end to a perfect day."

"The Bee Gees Experience were absolutely brilliant. The 3 of them were friendly , very easy to get on with from the minute they arrived at the Arts Centre. Their performance was fabulous and everyone at the sold out gig thoroughly enjoyed it ……. there was much clapping, cheering….. singing and dancing!"

"Groove Central were brilliant. I and our wedding guests were blown away by just how good they were. A great sound from the band, and Suzy has an excellent voice. Numerous people accosted us during the evening to say how good they were. The dance floor remained packed all evening. Communication with the band prior to the event was easy, and they were able to fit in around the tight schedule. "

"Thank you all for helping us to make the Love Ball a success. You were Brilliant - perfect music for the occasion and just so tight musically. Apologies for the table moving issue. It wasn't the plan to clear everyone out before the dancing but we'll be on that one next time! I've had great feedback about the band from dancers, non dancers and even people who weren't at the event. News spreads and that is exactly what we want.
