"Absolutely amazing!! We hired Mariachi Las Valentinas for a Mexican Day of the Dead party and were totally blown away by the quality of the music and the talent of the musicians. They really made the party go with a swing, and played a really good mixture of fast songs that had the audience up and dancing, and some slower songs that gave people a chance to catch their breath. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, they brought so much joy to our party - more than happy to personally recommend if there's anyone out there in two minds about whether to book them, just contact us via thephoenixgarden.org and we'll give you any extra details you need. Totally brilliant and we just can't thank this wonderful band enough - we had so many comments from local families who attended the event and told us how much they enjoyed the music. It almost felt as though we'd got some old friends to come and perform for us. If you're thinking of music for your party we'd wholeheartedly recommend Mariachi Las Valentinas - just please don't book them for any Day of the Dead events, because well be needing them again!!"

"Steve was the saxophonist at our wedding, and he was absolutely incredible! From the moment he started playing, he brought so much energy and the most amazing vibes to the party. He had everyone on the dance floor, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how brilliant he was, both throughout the night and the next day! Steve really helped make our wedding unforgettable, and we couldn’t have asked for a better atmosphere. Thank you so much, Steve, for being such a huge part of our celebration. We would highly recommend you to anyone looking to make their event extra special!"

"Had the pleasure of DJ’ing alongside these gents last night at a wedding ceremony. As a city fan, I’ll always love Take me home and it was great to hear it live, but these gents are incredibly talented. As a fellow musician I appreciate your twang, style and interpretation of each cover, not to mention the overall performance. Blown away - just simply fantastic and that’s rare for me to say. The use of a megaphone, genius! 👏. It wasn’t even my booking and I’d recommend these! Thank you for making the night!"

"Now! Being a lover of Blues, Rock and all that manly testosterone pumping music, I was amazed when I first heard Sam sing. Straight away I thought Karen Carpenter then Dana the 70’s Irish vocalist. Sam has a beautiful voice and stage presents, some might say angelic? Yes Angelic, that’s it, a look and sound that captures you the minute she starts to sing. I’ve watch Sam’s audiences on many occasion and they look mesmerised as the sight of this tiny person with this beautiful voice. It’s that serendipity moment, finding something of great value by chance. I can only say that watching Sam Lyon for the first time is like watching your first sunrise and being overwhelmed with the gradual warmth of that beam of light that shines on your face. I know, it sounds cheesy but it’s exactly how I felt when I first heard her and I’m a Rock and Blues guy to the bone, but this little ray of sunshine is truly an experience you won't regret going to see. Watch the horizon :)"

"Lizzy really gave our day some extra wow factor. Everyone said how beautiful the harp was at our wedding ceremony and it truly made my walk down the aisle magical. We didn’t get a chance to speak to Lizzy during the wedding as it was a very quick turn around (we only had her for the ceremony) but we really appreciated her making the effort last minute and was able to play everything we asked for 🥰."

"It was a small pub/restaurant venue so we only used Andy and his Saxophone with backing tracks rather than the whole band and we had a fantastic evening! Andy played and sung a great mixture of music that got everyone of all ages up dancing. He even had the patience for a saxophone duet with my dad which was really special. As it was a surprise Andy travelled to North Wales to set up early and mingled with the guests, he was ready and waiting when we arrived which made a great impact. Big Thank You to Andy, hope to use you again! "

" Superfunked provided the perfect mix of sophisticated Swing music in the early part of the evening then high energy Soul and Motown in the latter half, and even added some Elvis and Eagles. Awesome collection of singers and musicians."

"Miriam's performances are very popular with our residents. Miriam is always very meticulous in her planning asking for suggestions and remembering individual resident's preferences. Props and lyrics are supplied which results in a polished presentation. Miriam's performances are interactive and inclusive, her musicality and talent are exceptional. We have enjoyed Xmas entertainment as well as 'last night of the proms' and Valentines is in the diary for next year already. We would recommend Miriam wholeheartedly and are happy to be contacted."

He sung for us at the evening of our wedding and from the moment he sung his first word, to his last song of the night all our guests were on their feet!
