"Spud's father piped at my parents wedding and it was only appropriate that Spud continue the tradition and pipe at our wedding. We left it to Spud to select what tunes he played and we’re so pleased we did. Spud created a wonderful atmosphere at our wedding and delighted us and our local and international guests with his piping on the day. The highlight for me was when Spud piped me down the aisle and the highlight for our guests was his magnificent wedding toast. He is a consummate professional, a lovely chap and highly recommended for any event. "

"The catfish kings played for a 50th wedding anniversary party in January and they where superb, and a real pleasure to deal with, i would recommend them for any occasion they are extremely talented musicians, and singers that are full of energy and really go all out to get the crowd involved everyone at the party commented on how much they enjoyed the band, i would not hesitate to use them again."

"Thank you Blue Jewel! We had had a fantastic wedding day which culminated in a ceilidh, not everyone's choice of course - until they experience the Blue Jewel phenomenon! You had to be very determined to NOT dance to avoid this. Kip is a brilliant caller - patient and knowledgeable. On the odd occasion when everyone was too tired to dance the band just played on anyway, the music was simply delightful in its own right. We are very lucky to have such a talented band in the west country, I would not hesitate to use these guys again- if you have an event coming up book them before they become world famous and never play locally again! "The band were AMAZING at our wedding. They did an acoustic set as our guests arrived and then a full band set for the party in the evening. We had nothing but excellent feedback from our guests all of whom thought they were brilliant including ourselves. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any event, they know how to get the party started, have incredible voices and are a delight to deal with, what more can you ask for?"

"We were lucky enough to have Alex play at our wedding, both for the reception and the wedding breakfast, and he was truly exceptional in every way! From the very beginning, he was so accommodating and responsive, always willing to work with us on song selections and ensuring everything was exactly as we envisioned. His flexibility in tailoring the music to fit the mood of the day was just wonderful. Most importantly, the music itself was simply beautiful. The moment our guests entered the reception, the atmosphere was instantly elevated by his elegant playing. Every note was perfect, and his repertoire offered a timeless, classic feel that matched our wedding perfectly. If you’re looking for a talented pianist who will not only play beautifully but also be a joy to work with, I can’t recommend Alex highly enough. His music brought an extra layer of sophistication and warmth to our wedding, and I would absolutely encourage any couple looking for classic, elegant entertainment to book him for their big day. "I just wanted to say a massive Thank You for our wedding music. It was everything we could have hoped for and we received so many lovely compliments about yourselves, how you played and the music selection. People also commented on the pleasant ambience whilst we were having the wedding breakfast and that the music complimented rather overawed the atmosphere. It was a well selected and appropriate variety of tunes, which suited all ages. You blended in so well Thank you for your patience and advice re music choice which worked perfectly and also for adapting when required All in all brilliant"
