"We just wanted to say an enormous THANK YOU to you and Alex for the fantastic set you did on Saturday at Ben’s 40’s Themed 40th Birthday Party! You were so friendly and helpful that many of the guests assumed you were friends of Ben’s. Well you are now! Your voices and Alex’s guitar playing were really lovely and the choice of songs was spot on. I really appreciated the way you took charge of any announcements and navigated the events during the evening without ever taking over, so that it took away any stress from us. Thanks also for enabling Izzy to use the backing tracks so that she could sing some special songs for Ben .You both really helped to make the evening such an enjoyable event for all involved. Lots of people commented on the music and wanted to know who you were, and the staff at the venue said how much they had enjoyed the music and the atmosphere it created. I know Ben will be in touch with you soon, but once again thank you both so much again for helping to make the event ‘go with a swing’ so that we all had a really lovely evening. "Thank you so much to the Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio, they were excellent from start to finish! They were easy to book and the communication was clear and fast. Everyone loved the band on the day and they made a special effort to organise a first dance for our families. We’re so glad we booked them! "

"We booked Maia and John for our wedding at Harlaxton Manor in Grantham and WOW - they were amazing! So easy to book and liaise with beforehand, saw our vision and executed to perfection! Our guests absolutely loved them and the vibe during our drinks reception! If you are looking for the extra sparkle for your day, you should absolutely book Maia and John! Thanks so much guys! x"

"We hired Charlie to play solo guitar at our wedding reception, and it was fantastic. The music created such a beautiful atmosphere — elegant, heartfelt, and perfectly suited to the moment. Professional, easy to work with - we couldn’t recommend him highly enough."

"From initial contact to the final note, Nigel was an absolute pleasure to work with. His talent is undeniable; a truly gifted musician. The communication was excellent throughout the entire process, making the booking seamless and stress-free. The repertoire was vast, offering a wide range of choices to suit any taste, and the willingness to learn a special song for my daughter's 18th birthday was above and beyond. Nigel's personable nature added a special sparkle to the party; he was a delightful presence and created a wonderful atmosphere. I wholeheartedly recommend him – you won't be disappointed!"

"Amazing doesn't cover it. All of my guests took time to note that Rosy was wonderful, her covers were contemporary and she had everyone humming along. While she played "background music" during Canapés before the evening music, everyone took note of her beautiful voice and peaceful vibes. I would book Rosy again in a heart beat without any doubt. Thank you so much for bringing your voice and joy to our wedding."

"I had a blast, the breadth of artists and songs covered was really impressive. As a big Led Zeppelin fan I was amazed to hear No Quarter live, its something I never thought I'd experience. The next best thing to getting in a time machine. For a 70s rock night out nothing beats Vintage Voltage!"
