Review Centre: Singers & Vocalists

"There is always a worry when trying to find "the right singer" for an event or celebration. I found Chris on-line, after reading all reviews. He was available for the date of my party, and corresponded via e-mail. I paid a deposit, using on-line banking, arranging for the final balance to be paid on the night. I had booked him to sing months in advance, and we occasionally mailed each other. (Mainly to ease my concern). We met on the night of my birthday party, a smartly dressed handsome young man, who was professional throughout. He gave me a quick run down of his itinerary and to be honest, I let him make the choices, my only request being NO slow songs. Once he took to the stage, every anxiety or concern I may have had disappeared. The party, my guests and venue without doubt were all incredibly impressed. And I, was elated. We made a joke throughout the night with guests on how we had met on-line and since the party every-one still says where did you find Chris? What a lovely man, what a great singer, even had a boogie with me. (foc) I cannot recommend him more, he read the room and sang the right songs. I think he enjoyed hiself too. Dont hesitate to have Chris perform for you. Thank you. "

"Meg has the most wonderful voice that can bring a tear to the eye when singing a ballad, or a whole room to its feet when singing an upbeat number. On top of that she has fantastic, funny stage chat to get everyone on board! "

"We contacted Celena to ask if she could perform at our wedding and also use her music system in between her singing spots. She was absolutely fabulous and catered for us just as we expected. the music was great her singing was great and she did a fantastic job for us, everybody enjoyed her singing and were up dancing most of the night. Thank you Celena for helping to make our day so special. if anybody needs a first class act for any kind of party, wedding etc, hire Celena. On top of everything we have said, she is also a very lovely person. xx"

"We hired Martin for our the 40th anniversary of our family business , we had a mix of people from 17 to late 70s but Martin had them all dancing along and joining in the singing and even sharing the microphone , he certainly lifted the roof and made a memorable night for all , ten out ten , we would certainly book him again! "

"I can’t say anything more than absolutely brilliant. From the time is first contacted Jack I felt every confidence in him. He did come recommended but on the night it far outweighed expectations. His Frank Sinatra was superb and the seconds half of the set he sang more up to date sings which were equally as good. He was even asked for cards on the night. I would not hesitate on booking him again. Top notch and worth every penny."

"I used james to propose to my partner, all i can say is if your thinking about using him ...stop thinking and book. He is absolutely fantastic and a great lad to. he did 2 songs for the proposal then some background music for us afterwards all of which was superb. He helped with my nerves before and sat and had a beer after. Great guy. Thanks james. "

"Hi Jess You were simply perfect for the venue and the theme. Your music and look set the tone for a real 1920s vintage feel – we loved your repertoire of songs and it had just the right mix. Our guests were glowing in their praise for you and it created such a vibrant, feel-good atmosphere. I only wish we had had the chance to dance more – we were simply too focused on drinking and chatting to friends! We had an absolutely amazing evening (although as 3.00am came around it was certainly time to head home!!) and that was down, in no small part, to your involvement. Jess, thank you so much and for being so determined to honour the booking by having such a painful, tortuous journey – hope the hotel was OK! "Dave Barnes is an outstanding talent. When being part of the audience for California Dreamers, (of which Dave is one of the stars of the show, as its out now) I found incredible joy. Within his role he sang, played the piano and flute with perfect ease and I believe there are no limits to his talents. His amazing connection to us as an audience, his fantastic voice and the way he presents himself on stage with enthusiasm, the love for what he's doing certainly comes across. Altogether a very inspirational and exciting person to watch. Dave is a naturally talented performer/artist who brings treasured music and performance to people in the best way possible. I loved it! Five stars all the way! X"
