"Thank you so very much for playing such a storming set at our wedding reception at the Bear Hotel, Cowbridge on 23rd. The band were all great and the DJ set kept people dancing and the mood buoyant between sets - superb. All the photos of the night show a full dance floor which is what we wanted - excellent. Everyone had a great time. You made our night so special and I cannot count how many positive comments we have had about the set you played. You really made our reception so special to us. Two of our friends are getting married over the next year/18 months, they were there and all asked about you - your details have been passed on."

"What can I say, Ian and the band were incredible and kept us on the dance floor all evening. The music is so good you can't tell when Ian is singing or whether it's the actual track. "Overdrive performed at our wedding after they performed at a work summer event I attended. Once I saw them at the work event I knew they would be perfect for the wedding! They played and sang tune after tune and you could not get the guests (and ourselves) off the dancefloor! I had several guests say how incredible the band were and some asking for details on where to hire them in the future! They were very accommodating in getting the setup done early in the day before guests arrived which we really appreciated. Would definitely recommend for any event if you love a good party!"

"The Fireflies (and Ian) especially were amazing - recruited for our Enterprise Awards Event, they pulled out all the stops. From start to finish including set up they were so good at communicating as well as the band itself. Since the event on Saturday there has been nothing but praise about the band! "If you are looking for versatile and professional musicians Alfie and Owen are a safe pair of hands. They were extremely thoughtful when my planned 70th Birthday party coincided with the recent sad passing of a family member. They were able to lift us all and read the room with sensitivity. They were flexible and willing to respond to our requests, but also ‘held ‘ the situation with confidence . This guitar duo are skilled musicians. They have great musicality and range, entertaining our family with ages from 3 yrs to 70 yrs. Alfie is a prompt communicator and they were 100% reliable in all aspects from booking, arrival , supply of equipment and performance. We had a brilliant night!!"
