You guys are so professional and helpful right from the booking process, to learning our first dance song, the breadth of songs performed and the performance itself. So many of our guests commented on how incredible you were and think that was demonstrated by the fact you struggled to finish as the guests demanded more and more songs!"

"Thanks so much for playing at our Garden Party. With ages ranging from 2months to 98years you entertained everyone. You and Owen exceeded my expectations; such a full acoustic sound and you both were so friendly, flexible and responded to exactly what was needed. From atmospheric/setting the scene chill out music to whooping it up when the guests wanted to dance. Perfect. Great banter. Love you guys! I shall have to have another party."

"I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you, Chirag and the whole band! I was enjoying the sound check as i got ready and it was amazing! I know a lot of the guests really loved it too. I can't thank you enough for making sure everything was perfect for the entrances and couldn't have for anything more. It turned out that Taj E who is a personal friend recognised your guitarist as well and was so excited that i had an amazing band at the wedding. "Lucy performed everything from our ceremony music to the evening and it was absolutely incredible and loved by all! Any request was never too much to do and her personal music we loved! "Squarewaves were absolutely excellent; so many of our guests commented on the quality and variety of their performance and we really loved their set list. They were polite, punctual, funny and entertaining and were able to fill the dance floor; gauging the mood of the crowd really well. The vocals were perfect and we were amazed at how pitch-perfect and well rehearsed every song sounded. The garage mash-up was hilarious and unexpected and we will never forget the sight of seeing our relatives raving to their take on 'Insomnia.' An excellent, contemporary band offering a set list that matches absolute classics with up-to-date releases."

"Global Grooves surpassed our expectations. Their band manager was friendly and easy to work with in advance of the gig. The band themselves were highly professional at the gig. They created a great atmosphere at the gig venue. They worked really hard to play the sort of tunes I had requested that they play. Everyone who attended has said they absolutely loved the band. I would definitiely consider hiring Global Grooves again if we have another function which requires live music. We thought you were just brilliant. "

"I just wanted to say a very big thank you to you all for a most memorable ceilidh at Ross and Susie’s wedding on 6th October. We have had many compliments on your ceilidh band and the dancing, and with many coming from a bunch of southerners, that is praise indeed! The calling and walk-throughs were just right and enabled anyone who wanted to, to join in. I was so pleased to see the dance floor full all night and everyone having such fun. Your playlist was very well thought out with a good array of well known dances and one or two lesser known but all good fun and not so complicated, all with tunes of a good pace. My sister came off after dancing the Cumberland Square (?) saying “That was great, I’ve always wanted to learn that one!” My knees have not recovered yet from all the dancing- but I wouldn’t have it any other way! I am sure Ross and Susie will thank you themselves in due course. In the meantime I shall thank you once again. I would not hesitate to recommend you to friends and family for a great ceilidh night."
