"Dear Anne, Thank you all for you efforts throughout the day! Many people commented on how superb the quartet was. It was such a special element to the day. We are so so pleased with the performances, song choices and effortless ease in which carried out their role. Despite being a working day for them, we hope they had the opportunity to enjoy some of the food and weather! We are still awaiting the photos but should anything come through we feel would be good for social media, we will be sure to forward on. "As a Local Peterborough Band Promoter of nearly 17 years, I have had the privilege to work with some of the most talented bands in and around the Peterborough area and they come no better than Local Covers Band ‘R45!’ A popular Local 4 Piece Rock, Pop Covers Band from Peterborough playing all those old ‘45’ renowned hits from the 1950’s to current day! Featuring the immense talent of ‘Michael’ on Lead Guitar and now boasting one of Peterborough’s best Lead Vocalists ‘Jamie’, this is one band I would not hesitate to book for any private or corporate function or to play in any Pub or Club in and around the Peterborough area."

"I hired the band for my mums 70th Birthday party. From the very first comms it was clear this is a band who are accomodating to the enth degree. As a fellow musician I can appreciate the exceptional from the good. This band are exceptional. Balance of sound is spot on, no click tracks, all live and of the highest quality. Thoroughly lovely people too, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. "

"We first stumbled across Ed & Oliviya when they performed an acoustic set for the Bedford Gin Festival back in 2018. When we started planning our wedding in the Loire Valley, France my [now] wife and I both suggested we contact them to see if they'd be willing to travel and perform for us. Having contacted Ed directly, I cannot overstate how great he was to deal with. Ed was always prompt in his responses, from the quotation to additional requests we made along the way (and also on the day itself). Nothing was ever too much for them and they added significantly to our special day. We had a large number of guests specifically mention how much they enjoyed Ed & Oliviyas music - they performed before the ceremony and also got the party started after dinner. They make a fantastic duo, with Ed on guitar and Oliviya's stunning vocals. I would whole-heartedly recommend using these two if you have a special event which requires some music. Next time we have a party and need some music - we will definitely be giving you a call. Thanks again for everything, and making our day extra special. Love, Damian & Anastasia"

"From the first contact, Warwickshire Strings were great. I loved listening to the selections they had of the pieces they played on their website and the amount of songs they were able to play was incredible. Rachel was always at hand for advice. In the emotion of the day I can't actually remember walking down the aisle, but thankfully I have been able to watch a video of it. The quartet were fabulous and looking back I can see all the guests admiring the music too. I have had numerous comments from guests about how good the music was during the ceremony and the drinks reception. Thank you so much for being part of my day! "

"We booked the Hot Hats for our wedding party because we had seen them perform 4 years previously (when we were in the early stages of dating) and had enjoyed their performance so much that we jokingly said that we would book them for our wedding. So, 4 years later we did! And they certainly didn’t let us down. The Hot Hats were quite simply brilliant and exactly what we needed, and wanted, for our Wedding evening party. We had a small group of guests of mixed age and all were captivated by the band. Our big worry was that some of the guests would drift off to the quieter parts of the venue and no one would dance. But we needn’t have worried as the boys had their attention and had everyone up and dancing from the start. They performed modern takes on songs from a range of era’s and interspersed this with fun and charming banter. It was the perfect end to a perfect day. Communication from the point of my initial enquiry was good, they arrived nice an early to be ready to start on time. In between their 3 live sets, they also provided an appropriate playlist of music (and first dance song) to keep the evening flowing. We cannot recommend them enough – and nor can our guests based on the many positive comments we received afterwards from them."

"What an amazing band. They kept the dance floor full and we had so many comments from guests and venue about how good they were. Plus them playing our first dance song was something special. Then the selection of songs throughout the night was perfect. We really couldn't have asked for a better band. The communication was excellent as well. We would highly recommend "

"Could not have asked for a better band from booking through to the wedding day. Ian called us a couple of times pre wedding to understand our very different musical tastes and managed to mix them all in for two fab wedding day live sets and a DJ set. The band even played a special song which I was incredibly last minute in deciding! The lighting you provided to the venue also completely livened it up and created a whole different place for the evening! So many wonderful compliments from guests since the wedding about how great it was that so many people were on the dance floor and how this was encouraged by the interaction between guests and the band. They (and we) loved the music so much! The most fabulous entertainment for what was a brilliant day! Thank you so much! You’re fab!"
