"Eccentric Pony - WOW !! A "surprise" birthday party (60th) was truly turned into a night that I know I'll remember for a LONG time thanks, in no small way, to these four lads - they were tireless, performing a wide range of music all night with effortless ease and filling the room with songs across at least the last five decades The sound system was also set up perfectly for the venue, with family and friends (well, the very few that couldn't find room on the dance floor) still able to talk to each other without having to raise voices to a "shout" - VERY cleverly done, chaps - BRILLIANT !! In the days since our party, there have been SO many positive comments about this group and the atmosphere they generated in the room - I've honestly lost count of how many times I've heard "how good was that band?" These guys are the real deal and it's also very obvious how much they enjoy what they do - if you're lucky enough to find they are available for your next celebration/event, just book them - I promise you WON'T be disappointed Thanks again, Gents - I wish you EVERY success - you deserve it !!"

"The Haystacks Band performed at our wedding party at The Pinkneys Arms in Pinkneys Green, and exceeded all expectations. Helpful, communicative, professional, talented, and above all fun! They have a great set list with a fantastic mix of classic and modern songs, but were also willing to adapt to our wishes - with a high proportion of cat lovers in the audience, their version of Smelly Cat (by Phoebe from Friends) went down especially well. They got everyone dancing, including me... and it's notoriously difficult to get me to dance! Brilliant feedback from all our friends too. Thanks so much Rachel & Haystacks Band for helping to make our party so enjoyable."

"Phil was fantastic, arrived early set up in less than 5 minutes. Great communication before and after the event. Phil understood the audience and played appropriate music, he was brillaint! Everyone commented how amazing and professional he was. Thank you so much Phil I look forward to booking you again as do my guests."

"We booked Superfunked as a 6-piece for our summer ball and they were perfectly professional, well prepared and very pleasant to work with. Most importantly they took the event from mellow to upbeat and swinging without any need for prompts or direction. Fantastic execution and lovely singing. "

They have a brilliant, varied set list to suit all ears but were also very accommodating with playing some particular requests and most importantly they got involved with the crowd and had everyone on the dancefloor. "Everyone who came up to us during the reception said how amazing the acoustic duo were. So many people asked how we found you and what your names were so that they could contact you for their events. Your music provided the perfect soundtrack to our day and the set list was a great mix for our guests, there really was something for everyone. I caught many of my friends and family having a little sing along! We have since watched back our wedding video clips and we really can appreciate what a talented and wonderful duo you guys are and your music will be with us forever. "

"We were looking for a band with a repertoire of jump jive and swing music for our wedding reception and found One Jump Ahead. The band did such a great job, they had such great energy, and our guests loved dancing to their music. There was good variety of songs so that our non-swing dancing guests could show of their moves too! We loved the first dance and really appreciate the band learning the song for us, we hope they will continue to play it in their future gigs. We had very good communication with Kit in the run up to the wedding and the band were able to set up by themselves which made things run smoothly for us, and were very flexible and relaxed on the night. We'll be recommending you to our family and friends for future events!"

Thanks Sherri! It was a really great reception, made all the better by the lovely sunny weather we had. It was excellent that many of your guests were swing dancers - we always like to play for them! (It's still a pleasure playing for other dancers, too, of course - or even those who prefer just to listen!) "Blue Jewel were amazing and had us all up dancing with easy to follow instructions and demonstrations of how to do the dancing. I will definitely use this band again for the next party I have. "Great performance from the guys! Very accommodating pre-event all the way up to the event day. They played a great mix of music and the dance floor was full all night! Really recommend these for any event."
