"Mark came to play at a wedding I was organising. Truly professional. The organ in the church wasn't up to much but he had his own equipment which was great. The music was wonderful and everyone one was delighted. Mark is a lovely person to deal with, full of enthusiasm for his work and able to understand what is required. I would 100% recommend. "

"Thank you so much to Scotland Strings playing beautiful pieces of music throughout our wedding ceremony at Mansfield Traquair 29th March 2015. The string quartet created the most amazing and romantic atmosphere as our guests arrived, and it made the moment I walked down the aisle feel magical. They continued through our drinks reception, keeping our guests delighted and entertained while we snuck away for some time with the photographer. I would definitely recommend The Quartet – a talented and professional group of musicians playing effortless and seamless renditions of popular and traditional music. "Nigel played for us at my 70th birthday lunch at the MK Gallery Sky Room. He played for 2 and 1/2 hours during the lunch service (even though I'd only paid for 2 hours!) Nigel's music selection was perfect for the occasion and he is an accomplished musician. Nigel was very easy to work with setting up the event and on the day itself. I hope I shall have the opportunity to use Nigel's musical talents again!"

"Amel performed at our wedding reception. She was wonderful. Amel has a beautiful voice and was brilliant on the acoustic guitar. The range and number of songs that she can perform is extremely impressive and would suit just about any social occasion. In the run up to the day, she was easy to get in touch with to discuss the arrangements; on the day she turned up early, read the room and got on with her performance seamlessly. A very accomplished entertainer indeed. Thank you."

"Jamie is a fantastically talented musician who gave our wedding day and very special extra spark. Firstly he played the whole way through dinner which set and beautifully ambience to the wedding breakfast and filled the air with love, happiness and a romanticism which would not have been there with his playing. He played everything from memory and everyone found it incredible that he had so many songs stored in his memory. We also asked Jamie to help us with something else, something a little more specialist. Yeah sing in a band and we wanted to perform “feeling good” as a band but also with family and friends playing with us having rehearsed on their own at home. Jamie was able to arrange the music, provide sheet music for several different instruments including saxophone, violin and trumpet. He also provided a midi sound file for people to listen to for each instrument and the whole ensemble so people could play along and practice. Jamie also played the piano for us during this song on the night and everything sounded amazing. Everyone was blown away. If you are thinking of hiring Jamie to help with your wedding or other special occasion, let me just say you won’t be disappointed and it will add so much to your event.
