Review Centre: Wedding Musicians

"I absolutely loved this pair. I recently planned a wedding in Duns, Scotland and Sally & Graham drove over an hour to play about 3 hours at my event. Everything went completely perfectly, from our communication beforehand, the song list, them adding songs I requested, the location and sound quality for their sets, and setup/tear down. I wanted a relaxed, acoustic sound with talented musicians definitely not a DJ party wedding band, so this duo was perfect for that. This website and this band are excellent value for the range and, again, quality of the music, 100% worth the price and more. Before the event, I gave them some some requests including Africa by Toto, which they REWROTE and learned in their own style (HUGE HIT and really surprised my husband). Also we coordinated a place for them to setup, the times of the sets, and what meals they wanted to have, and everything went off without a hitch. They were also so very sweet and wonderful people that they really impressed all my guests who were complimentary and wondering where I found such an amazing band. One of the best things about the Scotswood Acoustic Duo is how their song list covers a huge variety of music that they somehow play all equally wonderfully. So everyone's music tastes were satisfied and it made for very interesting listening, this was one of the compliments I heard alot. There are just so many nice things to say, please book this band and get them doing music full time because they are AMAZING!"

"Nigel played for our Ceremony, Drinks Reception and throughout the Wedding Breakfast, and he was absolutely brilliant! His music was the perfect soundtrack to our day, and he played exactly the type of songs we wanted to hear throughout due to his really helpful questionnaire and brief we completed as part of the booking process. Nigel was so helpful to work with, always responding quickly and even shared recordings with us of the songs for the ceremony ahead of time as they weren’t part of his current repertoire. We’re so glad to have had Nigel as part of our day, and can’t thank him enough for helping to make our day so special. We would highly recommend Nigel to anyone - amazing!!"

"Steve was absolutely incredible on our wedding day! The weather changed our plans from an outside drinks reception to inside and he worked with the change perfectly! He played the perfect mix of songs and had everyone dancing and singing - it was hard to get them to move on to dinner as they were having so much fun! We can’t recommend Steve enough and are so happy he was part of our day!"

"Joe provided the music at our grand daughter's Christening, it was a magical afternoon made perfect by the beautiful sound of Joe's very accomplished repertoire. He played my own baby grand piano and executed everything perfectly. He compiled the perfect selection of music spanning various genres but all wonderful to listen to. I would not hesitate to book or recommendJoe again, he was so professional,smart and friendly and would suit any event which would be greatly enhanced by the sound of lovely piano music in the background, played expertly by a very pleasant young chap who clearly has a great deal of skill and expertise with an obvious enthusiasm for his art."

"What can we say, Nigel was a fantastic edition to our weeding day, On the build up to our wedding we had spent a lot of time listening to piano based music trying to find something suitable for various parts of the day. People entering the ceremony, the bridal walk, the music during dinner etc, we then stumbled accros Nigel who was local to us in Milton Keynes, not only did he provide a wide range of fantastic music for weddings he also allowed us some requests of which added a personal touch to our day. It felt a privilege that Nigel had taken the time to learn some songs that had been apart of our journey as a couple, it was beautiful to hear them on the day to not only settle the nerves but to have our guests recognise them!! Nigel is professional throughout the day playing a fantastic array of songs suitable for weddings, even taking requests from the kids, highly talented and a master of his craft it was a joy to watch our daughters face as she recognised “let it go” being played as her request. We would recommended Nigel for any wedding or party event, an absolute please to deal with though out the whole process, he took a lot of the stress away from us which ultimately was the goal… Thank you Nigel The Crosbie’s"
