"Harriet was the perfect start to our perfect day- while all the guests arrived for our drinks reception and canapes, they were greeted by Harriet's beautiful harp and all the music we requested for our special day. All our guests commented on how well the music complemented the beautiful setting and venue. We met Harriet 2 years before our wedding and was one of the first vendors we booked! She made everything so easy throughout and always got back to us quickly with any questions we had. "As soon as I heard you play our request, “Kissing You” for us to enter in to the ceremony the tears began to fall! (In a good way!). "Our original piper emailed me at 9:30am on our wedding day to cancel the booking for valid reasons however, they did not call me and it was only by chance I saw their email. We found Julia who luckily was free, she had around two hours notice to put on her Highland dress, drive 12 miles, set up and play for our guests. She was there on time and learnt the song I wanted piped down the isle to, on the way. She was amazing, and played absolutely beautifully. I wanted to wait to walk down the isle so I could hear her play more of the song that I loved, it made me so emotional hearing her play. Our guests loved her too, and all complimented on how well she played. I would recommend Julia for your event and she will always be my first piper to call for any future events. We are eternally grateful for all that you did Juli, thank you. "

They worked well with us and tackled an eclectic selection of music with real brio, both during the main event and during the reception that followed. "

"We booked Singing with Strings for the reopening of our Inn to provide a relaxing live music act for guests over a lunchtime / early evening event. Sophia was bright and engaging, arriving well in advance of her booking allowing us plenty of time to brief her and allow her to set up. Her setlist was varied and added just the atmosphere we were hoping for. I would recommend Sophia without hesitation and fully intend to book her again for further events."

"Claire was so helpful leading up to the Wedding. She provided us with a full repertoire of music and made some excellent recommendations. She helped us choose the music for the ceremony which was beautiful and provided us with such a romantic backdrop to our Wedding. The reception was superb with such a perfect mixture of old and new - the James Bond music went down particularly well! We had so many compliments after the Wedding about how lovely the music was and we can't thank Claire enough. Perfect background to an intimate Autumn wedding. Thanks Claire!"

"The Masked Violin was amazing! His sweet melodies serenaded all our guests from arrival until our DJ/ live music arrived. Everyone loved his music, and have been speaking of it ever since. He was truly incredible. He was so kind, he even pre-learned the songs to play for our ceremony: one was a normal wedding song, the other a punk song, which he played so well it helped make our day perfect. Afterwards he played a variety of well executed music, all sorts of genres, along with his mask and mysterious demeanor our guests were all dazzled and mesmerized. Our guests were taking about how amazing he was for days afterwards (we had a multi-day wedding), we do regret not hiring him for more days as he was fantastic. He was an absolute pleasure and we highly recommend him to everyone, for any kind of event. Honestly we can not praise him enough. If you are thinking about music at your event, he brings a magic that others can't: definitely book with him 💯."

"Just wanted to send a quick email to say thank you so much for playing for us at our wedding on September 10th. You played beautifully and it set the tone for the drinks reception and breakfast perfectly. I would recommend you in a flash to anyone. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to thank you better on the day, but I was caught up in everything and the fact the sun was shining! Also thank you for playing our James Taylor songs and playing them again when you came into the marquee! I eventually got Mum and Dad to hear them!"
