"Honestly mate – you guys were ace and just what we were looking for! I think the dancefloor was full, from the moment you guys started playing, to when you finished which I think says it all. I spoke to a lot of people on the night and everyone I spoke to really enjoyed the set you played. You were brilliant mate, and thanks for the short notice use of your microphone as well – I know that got dropped on you at the last second!"

" Just got home from our wedding and wanted to say how brilliant the Ashdowne were! Everybody loved the music and really made our evening do! And our first dance was lovely, together with the special dedication of yellow by Coldplay. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a fantastic band for their wedding! "From my perspective, Rory was polite, professional and played very well. He was excellent at communicating where he was, and was very conscientious to be placed somewhere suitable for the guests. Rory specifically wanted to ensure that when Anam and Alex were announced in to the evening reception, their arrival was accompanied by the correct song. "We booked these guys to perform at our English/Indian fusion wedding. They smashed it! Playing a broad range of old and contemporary music which appealed to everyone. They are mesmeric to watch with each band member giving it they're all and connecting with the audience and it's apparent that the band love to perform to a live audience as they engaged perfectly with plenty of energy. Above all they are not pretentious but hard working, professional and excellent musicians."
