"I realised we never said THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! You lot absolutely 100% nailed it! We are both so so happy with the glorious soundtrack you provided for our party. The music was amazing, and the energy you all bought was incredible. We knew it was going to be good, but had no idea it would be that good! You got the party started in ways we could never have imagined! Everyone had the best time dancing to your sound, we could not have wished for more. There aren’t words for how grateful we are, just thank you thank you thank you!!! "

"We booked our wedding band with for our July 2021 wedding and the guys were absolutely phenomenal and even so much better than we were already expecting! They are great entertainers and made our day extra special. Everybody loved them and although we thought that it was going to be a calm and laid back evening, everyone ended up being on the dance floor and having fun! Thank you so much!"

"We really want to thank The Blue Suede Shoes for being such a great band for our wedding on 3rd August. They are truly excellent musicians and performers. The lead singer can really sing and each member of the band has real talent. They quickly got people up and dancing and they made the party for us. They also managed to appeal to all of the different generations and they mainly played well known, feel good songs which everyone liked (they also weren't too cheesy, however!). The first dance song we requested (Faith no more, This Guy's in Love with You) was a fantastic cover. The Blue Suede Shoes were great to deal with, from the first e-mail, always responding quickly to queries. They turned up on the day exactly when they said they would to set up and they were helpful, friendly, organised and flexible throughout the evening. Thanks again guys! "

"The Blue Suede Shoes were very professional throughout and communication was always easy before the wedding. Their gig at our wedding was also great, a very varied bunch of songs and all done very well. They even managed to pull off a very successful improvisation with one of our brothers who is a rapper. All in all, would definitely recommend!"

"Just a fabulous evening rockin' to this band at a 50th Wedding Anniversary for my parents-in-law. They really looked the part, were fabulous musicians, they played 3 sets, were very flexible and wanted to ensure they were playing the songs we all wanted. As a result everybody thoroughly enjoyed the evening and the dance floor was packed all night."

"Just want to say a huge thank you for last Saturday night, you guys were brilliant and played a massive part in a fantastic day. Practically everyone we have spoke to about the wedding has paid tribute to the music, and many have commented about how you were nice, down-to-earth guys, and we have several great pictures. We have already had a couple of people ask for your guys details about future functions, and we will look to promote you wherever possible. My only regret is I didn’t get chance to get you a drink before the end of the evening! I hope you all enjoyed the night as much as us and our guests, and hopefully will catch you somewhere again in the future. "I was so glad that we decided to book the House of Chords for our wedding celebrations. They could not have been more helpful and co-operative in the weeks of planning and preparation. On the day itself they turned up, sorted themselves out and were completely charming. The repertoire of songs was excellent; an eclectic mix of great songs that were enjoyed by all generations. There were so many positive comments from parents, grandparents, even our teenage son who is seriously into his music. They really helped to make our day memorable and very special."

"We engaged House of Chords for our 50th Wedding Anniversary Party, and our expectations were exceeded. The whole professional, user-friendly process went smoothly from start to finish, starting with a playlist established beforehand by email/phone. The band have an impressive set of equipment, including a great lighting rig, and arrived promptly on schedule to set up and do sound checks. They produced a tight sound, with good harmony vocals, at just the right volume levels to suit the venue, – all obviously born from the many occasions they have played together. Their youthful enthusiasm was infectious, and much appreciated by us oldies."
