"We booked Zoe after hearing her playing at Holkham Hall in previous years. It was a wedding present for my niece and her new husband. The ceremony was outdoors on a beautiful September afternoon and Zoe’s harp playing was magical. It really set the tone for the day. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Guests are still speaking about it now. A day to remember. ?"

"Blue Jewel Ceilidh made my parents' 40th anniversary a roaring success! They were punctual, extremely organised, and so very talented. Excellent callers had everyone dancing, laughing and having fun and the music was fabulous. They played well known dances and some new ones which were great. They were also brilliant as they played beautiful interim music whenever needed to give people a chance to catch their breath and have a drink but not miss any dances if they wished. They gave us extra dances at the end and a few people have already taken their details for further events. A superb find, fantastic value and thank you so much. We will definitely be contacting you again in the future!"

"We were so happy with our choice for the daytime and evening music for our wedding in July. There is so much choice these days but luckily we fell we chose entertainment that was a cut above the usual. Hamish was very easy to work with and happy to take any questions we had before the big day including changing times 3 times and also rearranging the requested music. In the evening he organized a jazz trio that were superb and we couldn't have been happier!"

"The setting for our August 2018 wedding was the beautiful Arnos Vale’s Woodland Undercroft. There was a “Gothic Lite” theme to this largely (we had a marquee!) outdoor event which we wanted to be as informal as possible. It was important to us that everybody who was attending or contributing to the event felt that they were able to participate in the occasion as guests. For this reason we wanted musicians who we felt would “fit in” the with guests as well as playing the type of music that we wanted . Having trawled through various websites we discovered the “Hot Hats” and, having played their version of “Friday I’m In Love”, knew that we didn’t need to look any further. The sound was great and the image of the band was just what we wanted. Having then seen the band play a couple of times, it was clear that the personalities and sound was just what we wanted. As there was no particular running order for our afternoon reception, our brief to the band was, basically, “play when you think you need to” and this worked a treat. In addition we were played down the aisle to the band playing “I’m A Believer” which was a really special moment for us. There was good communication at the point of booking which was a painless process and continued contact with Alfie and his agent made arranging the event so much easier. We loved the band and the guests loved them as well. We would therefore have no hesitation in recommending the “Hot Hats” for your event. Martin & Nikki P.S. If there was a downside to our afternoon it was that Alfie (despite his best efforts) was unable to teach the bride to properly strum a guitar but, in the overall scheme of things, we’ll let that pass!"

"Bobby is an incredibly dynamic performer with a strong voice, always captivating the audience from the get-go. Not only does he have a wide range of genres up his sleeve, he is also a great dancer and is very comfortable in front of a crowd. Cameron is a very talented guy who seems to pick up any song straight away, gifted at an obscene amount of instruments due to his natural musicality. His guitar playing is no exception to this. Both of them are absolute professionals in everything they do, making for a pleasant and easy experience working with them."

"We just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for making the drinks reception at our wedding on Saturday so amazing, you made the whole process in the lead up really stress free and even more importantly were incredible on the day, everyone has been commenting about how much they loved the music and performance, and the memory of dancing across the field to greet our guests to the song you’d saved for our arrival will stay with us forever. "The band were really really good, everyone really enjoyed it. They played two fantastic sets, and everyone was dancing. I couldn’t have asked for a better evening. What was really nice is that I asked for a particular song and they played it perfectly. It meant a lot to me and my wife. It was great a really fantastic evening. If you get the chance, go and book them up!"
